Girls' Frontline: Doll's Song (少女前线-人形之歌 in Chinese and ドールフロントライン人形之歌 in Japanese) is the official Girls' Frontline manhua (“Chinese manga”) adaptation, illustrated by Ling (aka Miharu or cgsky). It's published in Chinese by Bilibili Manga since January 2019 and in Japanese by Monthly Comic REX since September 2019. No English release has been announced.
Up to chapter 29, the manga follows the outline of the game's story but greatly expands on it by reordering minor events, adding new situations and introducing several Griffin & Kryuger Tactical Commanders. The manga starts following the original narrative more closely when it reaches the game's Chapter 8. The Girls' Frontline anime is mostly based on this manga.

Differences with the game[edit]
- The in-game Commander is replaced by Gentiane. As Gentiane already has some experience as a commander, the training missions with Helian are not shown.
- Other Griffin Commanders exist as their own characters: Feodor Kamolov, Shi Jun and Kawasaki. In the game, Griffin Commanders other than the player character are only mentioned in passing.
- Dolls are assigned to one of the multiple commanders, unlike the game where all the Dolls save for some story-relevant one are under the player's orders. Some Dolls such as M200 appear earlier in the story than they were introduced as playable units in the game.
- Some character details are changed, such as M4A1's dominant hand or SOP-II receiving an under-barrel grenade launcher.
- The story is said to begin in the Carpathian Mountains. The setting of early chapters is never defined in the game and is only inferred roughly through external media. Text in English and Cyrillic is prominent, except chapters in Sangvis Base 0 which are in Romanian.
- The manga begins with game chapter 0, which is only unlocked after chapter 4 in the game.
- In a new scene during game chapter 4, AR Team returns to Safe House 3 and M4 honors the Dolls who covered their retreat.
- During game chapter 5, Gentiane does not take Kryuger's pistol and instead uses her own sidearm.
- During game chapter 7, m45 calms down M4 instead of M16.
- Scarecrow appears much later in the manga. She is introduced in a new scene at the end of Operation Cube instead of being the first Sangvis ringleader fought by Gentiane's Dolls.
- Angelia's past with AR Team is introduced earlier and more plainly. This part is mostly told through subtext in the game.
- The events of Deep Dive and Chapter 10 are narrated side-by-side instead of one after the other.
The manhua shows the operations of Griffin and Kryuger in greater detail such as the use of recon drones and satellites, the various uses of Dummies, the use of exoskeletons and NBC combat suits in irradiated regions, Dolls allocation between bases and the human personnel around the base. It also adds new details about Sangvis Ferri units and industrial capacity.
Doll's Song also used the nickname "Chocolate" (巧克力) for AR FNCFNCFNC in chapter 10 before Project Neural Cloud introduced Choco.
