Big Firebird (大火鸟文化), full name Big Firebird Cultural Media Co. Ltd (广州大火鸟文化传媒有限公司), and Liverless Studio (無肝者動畫), are animation studios, respectively based in Mainland China and Taiwan, both originating from KJJ Animation (烤鸡鸡动画).[1] The oldest work attributed to Big Firebird dates from 2009 (“Galactic Treasure”), and the oldest one attributed to Liverless is from 2014 (“Zazel”). The social medias of both studios were created in 2017, consistent with their creation dates recorded on Bangumi.

KJJ Animation produced the first fully animated PV for Girls' Frontline, announced during the preview stream for Deep Dive on 21 July 2017[2] and the final version shown during the 18 May 2018 devlog.[3] Big Firebird produced Chibi Dolls Theater in 2019 and 2020, with Liverless participating on some episodes.[4] Though there are no official credits, based on their official posts,[5]Liverless appears to be responsible for the cut-in skill animations of assimilated units in Girls' Frontline since 2020, as well as in Project Neural Cloud since 2021. Both studios are credited for the opening of Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery.
