"I can't sleep yet, I still have work to do..."

This article still needs to be completed. You can help us by contributing.

The symbol of the Doll Community is styled after one of the cooling towers of the Marley Thermal Power Plant.

The Doll Community is a faction in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, consisting of only Autonomous and Tactical Dolls. Led by the T-Doll Ullrid, the community is secretive and lives far from humans at the border of the Yellow and Red Zones, in the abandoned Marley Thermal Power Plant in the region of Zlín, formerly in eastern Czech Republic.[1]

Precursors

Dolls are not predisposed to living independently from humans, even if they are mistreated, because they assume that it is natural for them to server their creators or that they can't survive on their own. But in reality, Dolls who choose to claim their freedom can have a degree of independence from humans. For a more in-depth look in this topic, read Doll#Orders management and Doll Rights Act.

The earliest known independent Doll is Helen (also known as SG DP-12DP-12DP-12). In the mid-2050s, she executed orders from her master that led her to become a fugitive, and started living and working independently as a result.[2] At a later point, Helena even became the legal owner of another Doll, Dushevnaya, and they developed a mother-daughter relationship.[3] Helen and Dushevnaya would later cross path with the Doll Community two decades later.

Following the Butterfly Incident of 2061, the T-Doll SMG UMP45UMP45UMP45 formed Squad 404 with three other Dolls living in the margins of society. They formed a secretive black ops mercenary group living outside of human supervision. The squad later expanded under the name H.I.D.E. 404 by taking in former Dolls of the Area S09 Griffin Base.

A group of wandering Dolls surviving in the outskirts of a city in Eastern Europe is featured in HG Welrod MkIIWelrod MkIIWelrod MkII's Neural Upgrade story.

At the end of 2064, the Commander of Griffin & Kryuger's Area S09 base arranged with the Prometheans the emancipation of all of their T-Doll subordinates as part of a larger deal.[4] Through this deal, these Dolls enjoyed essentially the same amount of legal freedom as humans, including owning real estate and businesses, and unrestrained travel.[5] Among the hundreds of Dolls affected by the deal, some chose to work under other human masters, while others chose to live independently, including the G&K Dolls who would become part of the Doll Community.

History

Origins

The Doll Community originate from a bounty hunter group lead by Bernard Allen. After Allen's disappearance, Ullrid and other Dolls that used to work with Allen decide to separate themselves from the group to seek a place of refuge away from human society in the Yellow Zone. Told in the story Sojourners of the Glass Island, the Doll Community finds a suitable base of operations at the abandoned Marley thermal power station after defeating the Creepy Doll and surrounding ELID infected.
