GFL2 Weapon Accessories
Weapon Attachments in Exilium are used to further boost the stats of weapons, bringing bonuses to Attack, Health, Defense, Crit Rate, Crit DMG, Attack Boost, Health Boost or Defense Boost. The type and values of the boosts are randomly generated when receiving the Attachment. They become available at Commander Level 23 and are obtained by running Targeted Study in Supply Missions, in the Boss Fight shop, during events or by dismantling enough Attachments in the Storeroom to earn a Precise Grade Attachment. Attachments are equipped in the Refitting Room. All owned Weapon Attachments can be viewed in the Storage Room.
Attachments come in four grades of rarity: Civilian, Industrial, Military, and Precision. Civilian and Industrial Attachments are distinguished visually by their rusted appearance, while Military and Precision Attachments have a clean appearance. They also come in Upgraded, Assembled and Specialized variants:
Upgraded only provide basic stat increases;
Assembled will activate a set skill when three Attachments with the same Set Effect are equipped; and
Specialized increase both basic stats and extra stats.
Attachments come in 9 general categories, further segmented by weapon types. For example, an AR Sight dropped from the AR+SG Targeted Study cannot be equipped on an MG.

Calibration

Attachments of Military Grade and Precision Grade can be be calibrated, in order to gain new randomized stat boosts. This can be done by consuming other Attachments of the same Targeted Study category (AR & SG, SMG & MG, RF & BLD, or HG), plus an amount of
Sardis Gold. The amount of Sardis Gold required depends on the rarity of the Attachment that you are calibrating.
- Calibrating a Military grade attachment consumes 1500 points of material fodder and 3000 Sardis Gold
- Calibrating a Precision grade attachment consumes 5000 points of material fodder and 20,000 Sardis Gold
Each attachment that you consume for calibration provides points of material fodder dependent on its rarity:
- Civilian attachments provide 200 points
- Industrial attachments provide 400 points
- Military attachments provide 600 points
- Precision attachments provide 1000 points
Calibration is inherently more effective on attachments with base values closer to the maximum (represented by the white check on the stat gauge). The first calibration will always produce a large increase to the initial stat boosts. Subsequent calibrations may produce higher or lower stat boosts, leaving you with the decision to accept the new stat boosts or retain the exists boost values. It is more effective to calibrate attachments with higher initial stat boosts.
Starting at Commander Level 45,
Precision Boost Chips can be used as Boost Material to receive further enhancements to a random attribute.
Extreme Calibration
After the 1st May 2025 update, an attachment can undergo Extreme Calibration. While standard calibration randomizes the stat boosts and can lead to lower boost values, Extreme Calibration provides boosts to a stat of the player's choice in increments of 10%, giving the option to fully calibrate an attachment without relying on RNG.
Extreme Calibration can only be done on attachments that have already been calibrated and attained at least 100% boost on all stats. Each Extreme Calibration increment consumes a
Targeting Calibration Chip and 50,000
Sardis Gold. Normal calibration is no longer possible for attachments that went through Extreme Calibration, so it is better in term of resources consumption to boost stats with normal calibration as much as possible first.

Inventory management
Players will accumulate many unwanted weapon attachments as they farm for the best combination of attributes, so automated inventory management should be setup early in the Storeroom to avoid filling all 1500 inventory slots.
In the Dismantle and Weapon Attachments tab of the Storeroom, attachments can be disassembled in bulk to free space and generate new attachments. Disassembly will ignore any attachment currently attached to a weapon, and attachments which have been locked (represented with an orange padlock on its icon).
In the Weapon Attachments tab of the Storeroom, the Lock Plan button will open a screen dedicated to automating which accessory will be locked when obtained based on their combination of attributes. As of version 2.0.3932, two separate automation plans can be setup for each of the thirteen set effects. Each plan is configured with a combination of the seven attributes are wanted, and whether 1, 2 or 3 attributes (or 4, for the No Set Effect attachments) at once should be present at once for the automated lock to take effect.
In most cases, the combination of "Any 3 items" of Attack, Attack Boost and Crit Rate (or "Any 4 items" and adding Crit DMG for No Set Effect attachments) is what's wanted.
After changing the plans, using the "Quick Unlock" and "Search Attachments" buttons for each attachment type will update the locked state on all attachments.
