Agent Story Assimilated Quotes

Character info[edit]

Agent is the top command Doll in Sangvis Ferri, in charge of liaising between Elisa[1] and the other command and defense ringleaders such as Gager[2][3] and Dreamer.[4][5] She also handles logistics, but her role is not limited to strategy as she possesses strong command and combat abilities on her own.[1][6] Even her dummies are extremely powerful.[7]

Calm and composed, she always speaks in a courteous manner, but the only person she has genuine respect for is her current master or mistress. She speaks haughtily to her subordinates, and her tongue is especially sharp when it comes to the Griffin Dolls she has been fighting, even after her Assimilation. She even jokes about taking out the other head maid.[1][8] During My Devil's Frontline, she is depicted in a more mellow way.

Dreamer once told Destroyer “you've never been killed like Agent was”, implying Agent once suffered a particularly shocking defeat.[9]

Agent appears in the description of some furniture of the Sangvis Ferris set:

  • Resting Unit SP-B04 - The pattern on the blanket always makes it seem like it is sliding off the bed... - Intruder ; You've read too much of human psychology. Try turning the blanket around the other way. - Agent
  • Outdoor Balcony SP-A08 - Architect, look outside the next time before you open the door. Destroyer has cried everytime you've hit her with it! - Agent
  • Multipurpose Table SP-Z08 - This is the third one this month. Whoever sees Architect sitting on the table, kick her off. - Agent ; Especially when Destroyer is sitting on her lap. - Addendum by Agent

Main Story[edit]

Against Griffin[edit]

Agent prepares to kill AR M4A1M4A1M4A1.
Agent reveals to Ouroboros that she used her as bait during Operation Cube.
I have brought Death to your doorstep. Now, open your eyes... Look at me, Tactical Doll AR M4A1M4A1M4A1, look at me. It's time for your finale, and you must stay till the show is over. Interesting. Even the look in your eyes is different from theirs in the face of Death. But this is the look I want. Show more shock! More indignation! More hatred![10]

During AR Team's mission in Safe House 3, Elisa dispatched Agent to capture the data recovered by the Dolls.[6] After encircling the building, Agent entered and nearly killed AR M4A1M4A1M4A1[11] before being pushed back by AR M16A1M16A1M16A1. The team was forced to separate before the powerful ringleader and fled their separate ways.[10] It is likely during this mission that Agent first fought with Angelia and left her for dead.[7] Agent and her troops pursued after fighting AR's backup team of SMG SkorpionSkorpionSkorpion, SMG MAC-10MAC-10MAC-10, SMG PPSh-41PPSh-41PPSh-41 and AR StG44StG44StG44. MAC-10 was recovered by the Commander and warned Griffin & Kryuger of the ringleader's presence.[12]

During the first Parapluie outbreak, Agent charged Destroyer and Dreamer with the assault on the secret Griffin base. To prevent Dreamer from toying with Destroyer and sending her to her death, Agent entrusted the keycode to access AR ST AR-15ST AR-15ST AR-15's infected Neural Cloud to Destroyer.[4] This was combined with the safeties Agent had installed in Destroyer's Neural Cloud to prevent Dreamer from deleting her completely.[13]

Agent supervised Elisa's intervention in Plan Parapluie, until AR-15 lured her out and blew herself up in an attempt to take her down, though she only destroyed Elisa's dummy body. While Elisa felt bad for sacrificing many SF units for nothing, Agent assured her will was absolute and apologized for not deploying more ringleaders. Agent also felt this failure would be a valuable lesson for Elisa about the necessity to use more than brute force to reach her objectives.

Moreover, AR-15's role as an infiltrated agent was already replaced by another Doll:[14] earlier, Agent had charged Ouroboros with protecting a signal jammer in Area S06, instructing her to avoid direct conflict with G&K.[15] Ouroboros instead rigged the jammer with explosives to kill the attacking Squad 404, planning to blame her subordinate Executioner.[16] However, 404 survived and tracked Ouroboros down. Before she was found by the Dolls, Agent informed Ouroboros that, as expected, her first mission would be her last, and that she had never actually entrusted the real jammer to her. Instead, she had led Squad 404 into a trap, covertly infecting SMG UMP45UMP45UMP45 with the Parapluie virus.[17]

Agent dispatched Architect and Gager to supervise the Area S03 Jupiter cannons testing fields as training, but a battle against Griffin occured, later dubbed Operation Hypothermia, after Architect downed AR Team's aircraft in the area. In the closing moves of the battle, Agent ordered Gager to retreat, scolded her for not calling for help earlier and assumed command of the operation. The Commander then successfully held back Agent and her forces as Griffin captured a Jupiter cannon for analysis. Agent considered Architect dead, but she had in fact surrendered,[18] recognizing an opportunity to escape Agent's control.[19]

During AR Team's infiltration of Sangvis Base 0, Destroyer and Dreamer's attention was successfully held by the Commander's diversionary attack until Agent saw through their plans, prompting Dreamer to scan the area and detect the team that had worked past their jamming field.[20] Dreamer let Destroyer handle the combats until Agent ordered her to deploy and pick up the newly infected M16A1.[21]

Joint assault[edit]

Agent prepares to kill the Commander.
Don't you think you're acting too surprised? After all, I did say... That I would bury you personally... [...] Ah... This is humanity, this is death... Dear Commander... Your face is becoming more and more beautiful... This...is the last... The very last mark you will leave on this world...[7]

During the joint G&K-KCCO attack on Sangvis Ferri HQ, Agent supervised the SF defenses while Elisa attempted to capture M4A1 again. However, she once again failed to merge with her before Agent warned of the enemy's proximity to their base, and Elisa ordered Agent to release the Parapluie virus at full power.[22] Though the KCCO had already planned a countermeasure to capture Elisa,[23] it ultimately failed due to Elisa's OGAS[24] and the hunt for M4A1 resumed.[25]

Agent tasked Gager and Intruder with defending the central SF database,[3] but Gager deserted her post to attack the fleeing Griffin troops. Using the troops allotted by Agent, she tried to extort Architect's location from the Commander,[26] but her plan backfired when Elisa's OGAS disrupted all comms on the battlefield indiscriminately, losing control over her troops. Agent noticed her disobedience after Squad 404 breached the central database, and sent Gager back to her post with a scolding to take care of Griffin herself.[3] While the Griffin troops managed to destroy one of Agent's dummies, Agent breached the base and reached the Commander. After disarming them, she pinned them to the ground and started crushing their ribcage with her foot, but stopped when Angelia contacted her to exchange the Commander's life against an encounter with AR M4A1M4A1M4A1. While she was surprised to hear Angelia alive, Agent accepted.[7]

Agent stood watch during the encounter, and when the discussion turned sour and M4 opened fire on Elisa, Agent intervened and shielded Elisa from Task Force DEFY's shots with her seemingly impenetrable body.[27] Agent left Elisa's evacuation to their new ally M16A1 and gave to the rest of the ringleaders the simple order to survive to fight another day. She had also tasked Dreamer with the special mission[5] of locating the Pike Node used in Elisa's creation.[9]

The end of Sangvis Ferri[edit]

Agent later deployed M16A1 with Beak in Belgrade to secure the Pike Node. Despite losing the node itself, M16A1 managed to download its content and pass it on to Agent. M16A1 requested to meet Elisa but Agent denied it, claiming Elisa was busy rebuilding SF's forces, but she simply didn't trust M16A1.[28]

When Elisa relinquished her role as the Sangvis Ferri central AI at the Paldiski Submarine Base, Agent was seen in panic for the very first time and transmitted on every SF channels to organize the Sangvis forces.[13] Keeping her role as SF's lead strategist, Agent monitored the ringleaders' charge against the KCCO outside the base until they were too damaged to continue.[29] Along with Judge, Agent then confronted the Sinner mechs of KCCO's Amber flight in the lower levels of the base,[30] trying to prevent them from stopping Elisa's plans. When M16A1 joined the battle to let Agent go back to Elisa, Agent expressed her surprise that M16A1 hadn't betrayed Sangvis Ferri, and M16A1 replied that sacrificial lambs shouldn't backstab each others. Agent also noted that M16A1 had managed to hatch her own plans under her nose since the start, though M16A1 assured it was not entirely intentional.[31] She is not seen during the rest of the battle.

Assimilated[edit]

The Assimilated Ringleaders intervene in Berlin.

At some point after the Paldiski events, Agent was captured and her Neural Cloud modified to change her allegiance to Griffin.

During the Berlin investigations, after the Commander requested backups against Paradeus despite the Doll count still being low due to the heavy losses of the Paldiski Incident,[32] Kryuger decided to dispatch Agent, Gager, Scarecrow, Executioner, Architect and Alchemist. They arrived at the Berlin airport just as the Commander's forces were engaged in a losing battle.[33] In the basements of the Berlin prison, the ringleaders managed to defeat Grig.[34]

During the infiltration of Avernus, the Commander elected against deploying powerhouse ringleader like Agent or Alchemist and instead deployed Architect and Gager to boost Task Force Aeneas' mobile heavy ordnance support.[35]

Side Stories[edit]

A Snowy Night Capriccio[edit]

Agent does not organize a Christmas party for the ringleaders because Sangvis Ferri's supplies are running low. When Destroyer realizes this, she hatches a plan to get her own slice of Griffin's celebrations.[36]

My Devil's Frontline[edit]

At the yakiniku party after the Jinbocho incident.
Ouroboros, this is your last chance. If you do not pass Griffin's neural calibration exam, you will be scrapped and returned to the AI storage vault. If that happens, the next time we meet might be at a children's science fair one hundred years later. "Kids, do you see this AI? This is the oldest AI sample we have in storage. Everyone, wave hi to her."[37]

After Ouroboros's Assimilation, Agent personally oversees her awakening, expecting her to cause troubles. Indeed, Ouroboros immediately attacks Agent, eager to take revenge for her betrayal during Operation Cube, but Agent stops her easily on account of having limited her body strength. After explaining her situation, Agent announces to Ouroboros that she will be undergoing training, and that she will be indefinitely kept in AI form should she fail Griffin's neural calibration exam. She grants her one “weapon”, an old picture, to inflame her will to survive.[37]

Before Ouroboros can take the exam, she is transported to another dimension due to SMG Jashin-chanJashin-chanJashin-chan's plots and Agent goes searching for her. She meets HG K5K5K5, who is also searching for the missing SMG P90P90P90, HG CZ75CZ75CZ75 and HG NZ75NZ75NZ75, and they inform the Commander of the curious disappearances.[38] As they investigate, MG YurineYurineYurine, AR MedusaMedusaMedusa, RF PekoraPekoraPekora and SG MinosMinosMinos are transported to the base, and Yurine eagerly engages the ELID infected brought by a Collapse storm. The Commander tasks Agent with making sure she doesn't go overboard. After Yurine opens a door back to Jinbocho, Agent volunteers to go[39] and takes Hunter and Executioner with her to confront Ouroboros. Seeing the world she constructed with Jashin-chan's magic, Agent understands Ouroboros' goals and allows her to get closure on her feud with Jormungandr. Ouroboros manages to use Agent's “weapon”, a photo of her early days at Sangvis Ferri, to recover her strength and beat Jormungandr. After she passes out from exhaustion, Agent let Hunter and Executioner hit Ouroboros for summoning copies of them as slaves before bringing her back.[40]

Though Ouroboros showed no sign of repentance after the incident even after Agent's scolding, the Commander chalked it up as an experience in collaborating with their past enemies. As Ouroboros and Jashin-chan did the cooking and service at the yakiniku party as punishment for the trouble they caused, Agent fed Ouroboros one slice of beef, but she spit it out after Agent said she now owed her a full mark on her neural calibration exam.[41]
