The game Girls Frontline takes place in a conceptual world created by the game's producer and president of Sunborn (MICA Team): Yuzhong. A world slightly different from the real one, where the USSR never collapsed, advanced civilization who left 'Derelicts' behind, and a world ravaged by misusing such technology, almost post-apocalyptic in a sense. A few other works produced by Yuzhong & Co also took place in this conceptual world (namely novels and games around Bakery Girl), but happened on different section of the timeline, Girls Frontline's story takes place in this conceptual world during AD 2063 to 2064.
