JP Story Event

Overview

The main gimmick of this event is Angelia's Heart rate. Every enemy killed adds 20 to her heart rate and it lowers by 20 at the start of every round. Certain BPM ranges bring bonuses and others penalties:

  • <30 (Bradychardia): Ange loses 30% of her HP and BPM returns to 50.
  • 30 to 50 (Depressed): -10% damage, ROF and move speed.
  • 60 to 120 (Normal): No modifiers
  • 130 to 250 (Elevated): +15% damage, ROF and move speed.
  • >250 (Tachycardia): Cannot move for the remainder of the round, -50% damage, ROF and move speed, BPM returns to 150 on next turn.

The starting BPM depends on the mission.

In chapter 3, the gimmick changes for signal-to-noise ratio, increasing by 5 each turn while being reduced by 5 for each kill. An NPC allied squad can use skills to change the values.

  • <25 (Disconnected): Paralyze all units for the turn and inflict -50% accuracy, evasion and crit rate. Returns to 50 and normal values on next turn. Can be cleared by stage skill.
  • 25 to 50 (Low): -10% accuracy, evasion and crit rate, increase AP consumed per move.
  • 55 to 80 (Normal): No modifiers
  • 85 to 110 (High): +15% accuracy, evasion and crit rate.
  • >110 (Exposed): +15% accuracy, evasion and crit rate, additional enemy reinforcements.
