Lore / Story involvement

Nimogen considers herself above the rank of Nyto[1] and the concerns of humans. She called Rossartrism “just another way of packaging [their] own greed”.[2] In combat, she fights savagely with mechanical tentacles,[1] but she can be more calm and serious. She and Mercurows call themselves sisters, with Mercurows as the younger sister and Nimogen as the older sister.[2] According to Mercurows, the sisters had not actually received their proper name, and would have received them from Father if they completed their mission in Belgrade.[3]

Nimogen was deployed in Belgrade along with Mercurows during Paradeus' attack on the Neo-SovietPan-European peace talks, the own mission being to recover Pike node A-51-241. She mocked the cultists who led the attack, as they were not among “Father”'s chosen.[4] When Griffin & Kryuger evacuated Gilda Ulrich from the conference hall to the Belgrade cathedral, Nimogen attacked them but was pushed back by AR M4 SOPMOD IIM4 SOPMOD IIM4 SOPMOD II.[1] She attacked their convoy again as they tried to leave the city and successfully captured Ulrich while taunting them. However, she soon abandoned her[2] after “Father” failed to use her as a bargaining chip in his negotiations with Statesec.[5] She planned to find the Griffin forces and eliminate them, but instead responded to Mercurows' call for help against Task Force DEFY at the Belgrade fortress.[2][6]

In the fortress underground, Mercurows and Nimogen massacred the Sangvis Ferri forces trying to capture the Pike node, but AR M4A1M4A1M4A1's OGAS revealed the Nytos' weak point: the headpiece acting as signal blockers to their Virtual Consciousness, which would expose them to electronic attacks once destroyed.[7] M4A1 and AR ST AR-15ST AR-15ST AR-15 ambushed Nimogen and Mercurows with precision shots. AR-15's shot missed Mercurows, but M4A1 successfully destroyed Nimogen's blocker. She was driven mad by OGAS' electronic attack and fled the battlefield.[8] The attack on Nimogen had an adverse effect on Mercurows, who suddenly turned into a meek girl, and she was killed by M16A1 (Boss).[3]

Her mind broken, helplessly calling for her sister, Nimogen was discarded with the Isomers in Tallinn. When the Failed Isomer discovered her, she realized that even Father's “Chosen Ones” could be discarded, and resolved to seek freedom for the Isomers instead of waiting for salvation. She took over Nimogen's body,[9] absorbing the remnants of Nimogen's mind into the Isomer gestalt.[10]

The Failed Isomer was later absorbed by M4A1's OGAS, who took over Nimogen's body in turn.[11] M4A1 named this new entity Dandelion.[12]
