| “ | The flames of war rages across higher-dimensional battlefields, and the fabric of the world lines is on the verge of collapse. With annihilation drawing near, the goddess Lunasia turns to Griffin's finest Tactical Dolls to assemble a team capable of facing the ultimate crisis. These elite agents are thrust into a relentless training program where past battles are reborn in virtual arenas. Each mission challenges their limits as they navigate randomized battlefields, testing their combat cores and sharpening their skills through unyielding trials. The countdown to a cataclysmic storm has begun—will they be ready to face the chaos beyond dimensions? — Announcement blurb[1]

Girls' Frontline: Fire Control (formerly known under the development codename Project NET[2]) is a Girls' Frontline Third-Person Shooter spin-off, developed in Unity 3D[2] by Sunborn's Hecate Team.[3] The game launched on 27 November 2025 for Android in most of the SEA region (Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei and Timor-Leste),[4] with a PC release also announced.[5] The game features auto-aiming, a “roguelike-inspired tactical chip system” for character builds and 5v5 multiplayer[1] on MOBA-like PvPvE and Co-op PvE modes.
There is no Mainland China server planned for this game, instead targeting new markets such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Russia. Versions for Japan, Korea and Europe, and finally a Global version are considered for later implementation.[6] It is the first Girls' Frontline game to include English dubbing.[7]
Development history
The project began in September 2023 to add a multiplayer-focused experience to the franchise. Development is handled by Hecate Team, made of developer with previous experience in the shooter genre,[6] registered as a Sunborn subsidiary on 16 October 2024.
Social media accounts were opened on 6 December 2024, the first teaser posts made on 19 December, and the first announcements and trailer on 27 December. “Chrono Squad” (later changed to “Chronology Squad”), composed of AR OTs-14OTs-14OTs-14, SMG MP7MP7MP7, MG PKPPKPPKP, HG Nagant RevolverNagant RevolverNagant Revolver, SG SPAS-12SPAS-12SPAS-12 (under the name “Sportivo Calibro 12”, changed to “SPS12” after release) and RF WA2000WA2000WA2000 (under the name “W2000”) were introduced as playable characters.[8] A “Warp Jump Test” on Android platforms was announced for Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines from 9 to 16 January 2025,[9] with both PvP and PvE modes.[10] A second beta titled Shock Point was announced as the Warp Jump Test concluded,[11] running in the Philippines and Russia[12] from 27 March to 3 April 2025.[13]
A new teaser in February 2025, told by “an agent of the goddess Lunasia”, revealed the setting of the game in a simulated world inside Nirvana, which the “guardians of the space-time continuum” had accessed using “Transcendence Mode”.[14] Posts introducing maps were gradually shared: Training Ground (“A Doll fire control module testing facility located in the Central European region and managed by I.O.P.”), Lotz Grand Hotel (“A landmark in Lotz City, known for hosting high-profile banquets and conferences”), Submarine Base (“Paldiski Submarine Base, a classified military zone.”), The Third District (“A famous commercial hub in the heart of Beligrad”, with a misspelled “Belgrade”), Mysterious Factory (“A mysterious factory located in the southeast of the Bohnsdorf village”), Logistics Warehouse (“A daily supply hub outside Satellite City MEL-06”) and Garage (“A medium-scale military warehouse on the outskirts of Satellite City BUC-03”).
A post on 29 April announced a game mode with "Open Warzone - Desert Combat",[15] and another on 6 May a “tower assault” mode.[16] The announcement for the Core breach Test beta, to be held in Indonesia from 12 to 20 June 2025, announced a mode “Core Gameplay - Tower Assault×Tactical Combat” (with he official website adding “MOBA Shooter”) and SG AA-12AA-12AA-12 (under the name “FA-12”) and RF Mosin-NagantMosin-NagantMosin-Nagant (under the name “M1891”).[17] The game was considered 60% complete as of July 2025.[6] On 4 August, the first of the Transcendence Radio devlogs was published on YouTube.
On 4 September 2025, the final name of the game was revealed along with UMP9 and the map Nordtown. The game was slated for release in Fall the same year.[18] MG4 and AK-12 were revealed on 24 September[19] and pre-registrations ran for iOS, Android and PC from 26 September to 2 October.[20] On 13 October, an early access version was announced for Thailand on 23 October,[21] ahead of the game's participation to the Thailand Game Show.[22] A second character showcase of UMP9 revealed English dubbing.[7]
On 20 November, the official launch and start of Open Beta for Android was announced for Southeast Asia excluding Vietnam on 27 November 2025. The announcement artwork revealed HG PA-15PA-15PA-15 (under the name PP15).[23] The game officially supported the LDPlayer emulator and supported languages were English, Thai, Indonesia and Simplified Chinese.[4] PvE modes were not supported at launch to undergo further development, alongside the PC version.[24]
Gameplay
Combat

There are two game modes:
- PvP match: two teams comprised of players and bots, similar to a MOBA
- Co-op Campaign: on an open map against randomized computer enemies, players search for boxes containing loot and get buffs before the timer runs out and they are teleported to the boss. Each player receives a set amount of reviving items at the start, without them they need another player to come revive them. The Exploration EXP items are only obtained by reaching high scores in Co-op.
By default, character movement is controlled from the joystick on the left side and firing with a button on the right side. Aim assist are cycled through on the bottom left. Reloading and sprint button are below the firing button, jump button on the right, and skill button on top.
In Co-op, the mini map and loot list are on the upper left, modeled after the UI of Boundary Push.

Weapon Chips and Tactical Cores
When scoring kills, the player accumulates Data Coins, which are used to purchase Weapon Chips and Tactical Cores for the duration of the game. Each time the player accesses the shop, they are presented with a random list from the available pool.
Weapon Chips apply modifiers to the character's shots, like enhanced damage, a chance to fire a special AoE shot, damage types (Fire, Acid, Electric, Ice, Bleed) or crowd-control effects (Knockback, Stun, Pull, Freeze). A Doll is only compatible for a certain subset of Weapon Chips and only one chip can be active as a time.
Tactical Cores are more general gameplay modifiers modifying the damage dealt by or taken from certain elements or target types. Unlike Weapon Chips, multiple Tactical Cores can be active at a time. Available Tactical Cores depend on the mode being played (PvP match or Co-op Campaign).
T-Dolls
New T-Dolls are acquired in the shop in exchange for Diamonds (premium currency) or Medals. The starting T-Dolls are OTs-14 (gameplay tutorial) and SPS12 (shop tutorial).
T-Dolls belong to one of 6 Gun Types: Assault Rifle (assault), SMG (harassers), Shotgun (high HP, low range, damage ramps up across three shots), Machine Gun (suppress shields), Sniper Files (massive damage against weak points) and Handgun (buffers).
Each T-Doll has an active skill, a passive skill and seven stats: Max HP, Max Armor, Weapon Base Damage, Main Magazine Capacity, Armor DMG Multiplier, Weakness DMG Multiplier and Reload Speed Multiplier.
Dolls are upgraded by spending Medals and Extended Mags. There are 10 stages of Neural Upgrades, which increase Max HP, Max Armor and/or Reload Speed Multiplier and the effect of the active skill.
Similarly to the accessory system of the GFL2 Costumes, orange rarity Fire Control costumes may include a “Costume Removal” option which changes its appearance for a lighter version.

Story
The story will be only loosely connected to the rest of the universe.[6]
During the tutorial (indicated “Northland Incident” in the loading screen), the “Envoy” helps OTs-14 stabilizing her “neural imagery” and “recreates pivotal encounters from the past”, because “each mission helps restore power in Aether Space”.

- Chrono Squad: To maintain order, Goddess Lunasia gathered Neural Clouds from various world lines and formed a mighty squad in Nirvana. It's known as the Chrono Squad.
- Collapse Particle: A type of particle wave (i.e., radiation) with unknown composition—only bottom quarks and photons are detectable. Collapse particles are typically preserved in a condensed near-liquid state, colorless by nature but often dyed fluorescent green for visibility.
- Digi-Mind: Also known as "Neural Cloud," technology for backing up T-Doll neural data.
- Griffin and Kryuger: Veteran Kryuger and his friend Griffin founded this private security company in 2053. It's commonly known as Griffin.
- International Relief Organization: A non-profit military volunteer organization helping refugees reach purified zones from contaminated areas.
- Military: A regular troop of the New Soviet Union.
- Northland Incident: In 2030, students accidentally entered a relic site, causing a collapse fluid leak that contaminated human habitable zones. This catastrophe that changed the world became known as the Northland Incident.
- Ruins: The ruins of an unknown civilization were discovered in the early 20th century across the world. The technology found within far surpasses modern human science, making it a major subject of research for numerous nations.
- T-Doll: A T-Doll equipped with the Fire Control Core.
- T-Dolls: A humanoid robot with sophisticated AI, capable of daily service and basic combat support. Also known as the autonomous doll (A-Doll).
- Three Goddesses Project: The Three Goddesses project was launched to fully reactivate the ruins and recultivate GAVIRUL. It's another GAVIRUL reproduction attempt in human history.
- World Line: In Nirvana, you can monitor the development of multiple dimensions.

Trivia
- Most of the assets seen in betas are based on existing 3D models from Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, with PKP being the only all-new 3D model. The official website also reused the track GF_22W_BGM_2 from the Girls' Frontline Original Soundtrack.
- Contradicting later information,[6] a post from the seemingly official account @xProjectNET, deleted soon after the initial announcement, claimed the game was a fan project.[25]
