Girls' Frontline: Glitch Land (少前譎境) is a cancelled game, originally announced during the 2020 lineup of Sunborn along with Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium and Project Neural Cloud.
It was originally a fan-game project by 金剛, first shown in January 2019 under the title HK416 Not Found.[1] The fan-game was featured during Girls' Frontline's 3rd Anniversary livestream,[2] before it was brought in-house by Sunborn and renamed Glitch Land.[3][4][5]
In early 2022, the project was shelved due to issues with its government registration (the cancellation coincided with the July 2021 to April 2022 “Winter of Game Licenses” (版号寒冬) in China) and its main developer left Sunborn.[6]
The game would have used a top-down JRPG pixel aesthetic and focused on puzzle solving. Branching paths for the story and a two-player mode were planned.[7] The trailer introduces a human researcher named Anna Katharine, a girl kept in a containment tank, as well as a new foe. The story blurb explains:
This story takes place in the world of Girls' Frontline.
During a secret mission, strong EM interference down the helicopter carrying AR HK416HK416HK416 of Squad 404 near a town abandoned to radiations. There, she meets a group of refugees, a former Sangvis Ferri researcher once declared dead, as well as the T-Dolls HG ThunderThunderThunder and SG M870M870M870. Following an uneasy sense of déjà-vu, HK416 decides to help them complete their mission...
The “Worn-out White Coat” collectible in Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery hints that Thunder would have used the name Isadora (イサドラ) in the game. This was confirmed by key artist ヲさかな in their 2025 “DOLLS4” fan artbook.
