Trivia[edit]
- AR Team's logo can be seen on the case (clearer on M16's artwork).
- While it looks like a transport case from the outside, the equipment itself unfolds into a miniature particle cannon[1][2] fire support platform based on Sangvis Ferri technology. It appears its original owner M16A1 never received the necessary authorizations to use it since it was at full charge when it was passed on to M4A1.[3] The cannon was created by Persica[4] and is fairly heavy, though it never seemed to bother M16.[5] M16 never told the rest of AR Team about its nature and only said the content was “nothing good”, and that M4 would one day need it more than her. When M16 joined Sangvis Ferri, she sent the case back to Griffin & Kryuger by drone, along with the data on the Butterfly Incident she extracted from Base 0, but the case fell down and was later recovered by M4 SOPMOD II during the search for M16.[6] RO635 boosted the case's transponder signal to display their location and receive reinforcements from the Commander.[7] They then passed it on to M4A1 when they joined the assault on Sangvis Ferri's HQ.
- After recruiting M4A1 into Task Force DEFY, Angelia unlocked the case and granted M4 authorization to use it.[3] M4 would use up the full charge of the cannon during the course of the Great Retreat and run dry during her fight with M16A1 (Boss) to capture Elisa.[8] After M16 escaped, M4 tried to overload the cannon's batteries and commit double suicide with ST AR-15 in the explosion, but her OGAS took over her body to stop her.[2] M4 also used the cannon during the Belgrade events, where she destroyed Executioner with a square shot,[9] in Tallinn to destroy a power generator aboard KCCO's first armored train,[1] then against one of the Sinner mechs of KCCO's Amber Flight during the Paldiski Submarine Base battle.[10] M4 somehow lost the case during the Paldiski Incident and it remained in the ruins of the submarine base after it became flooded with sea water. RO635 found it floating during a battlefield cleanup and went to great length to recover this legacy of M4 and M16.[11]
