Personality

IDW has a very energetic character which has contributed largely to her infamous status among players, likely owing to the fact that the weapon itself is one of the few that is powered by a battery. Her speech mannerisms also include heavy use of cat puns.

Some of her dialogue suggests that she sees herself as a stray cat. This is likely a reference to how the Bushman IDW was never formally adopted by the British military nor found any popularity in the civilian market. Additionally she believes herself to be a very capable bodyguard and finds great pride in being able to protect her comrades in combat. While she often has a very positive and upbeat attitude, IDW appears to express annoyance at being compared to a pistol. This is likely due to the compact nature of the Bushmaster IDW to fit its role as a PDW.

Digimind Upgrade Story

Part 1

IDW was newly transferred to new squad, and excited to see what are her new teammates look like. She spotted one doll at the bar counter, and greeted her energetically. The doll was surprised, and nearly spilled her tea. The doll recognized IDW as the newly joined member, and introduced herself as ^AR L85A1L85A1 . ^MG BrenBren  came down to see why it's so noisy, and L85A1 introduced the new member. Bren doubted her capabilities, but IDW claimed that she's a professional bodyguard who can pull her own weight. Their team leader, ^HG Welrod MkIIWelrod MkII  suddenly appeared and challenge IDW to prove herself on a newly given mission. Three hours later, they're on the mission. L85A1 and Bren were charged to eliminate the enemies, and Welrod will took care of the recon. IDW, who's almost forgotten, was given a task to follow the two, and provide them with cover when needed.

Part 2

Gunfires were no longer be heard, indicating the fight was already over. Lying down, IDW couldn't open her eyes. L85A1 panicked that IDW got badly injured and Bren coldly told her to use emergency repair kit on IDW. She didn't want to cause her teammates trouble. She just wanted to carry out her duty as a bodyguard to protect others.

L85A1 tried to cheer IDW up. Bren is a competitive type so IDW shouldn't listen to her. IDW admitted that she was weak, and there's nothing special about her. Everyone on her previous squad was ignoring her, and she couldn't help anyone. Despite seems useless, she still hopingto to help her teammates. She thought, why she was made, if she's useless.

L85A1 praised her bravery. If it was her, she wouldn't dare to charge ahead to draw enemy fire like that. She couldn't give answer to why IDW was made. But the fact that she was there, someone on Griffin should feel that she's useful.

Part 3

They were another mission, where Sangvis troops pinned them down. IDW couldn't stop talking, and Bren told her to shut up. A voice came through the comms channel, it was Welrod asking about their current situation. The intel was off, so they're caught in a bad situation. Welrod was in the same boat, and couldn't provide reinforcement to them. The best she could do was sending the base blueprint to them, hoping that they could think of something. L85A1 was about to lose her mind. Bren told her to get a grip of herself, when IDW suddenly laughed.

IDW studied the blueprint and proposed to use the air vent to escape. Only IDW could sneak through it, and proposed another suicidal plan. She would sneak and draw enemy fire, while her team could use the chance to rush out. An hour later, the battle ended. The plan was a success, but IDW lost her limbs. Bren complained why she ended with a teammate like IDW, bent down and carried IDW on her back. Bren started to soften up. She hated worthless things, but for now, her new teammate has some use. L85A1 told her to be more honest at a time like this, and Bren told her to watch the perimeter. L85A1 smiled, and saying that she was thinking it would be nice to go back and having some tea and snacks.

Part 4

L86A1 was in the middle of her afternoon tea when IDW suddenly appeared and bragged about her new appearance. She did a lot of thinking on how to become stronger. She asked Welrod on which aspect she could improve, and asked Kalina to do the modification that cost several time of her salary. L85A1 praised that she looks more dependable now.

Bren Digimind Upgrade Story

IDW was discussing about holding a tea party with L85A1 and they plan to invite the Commander along when Bren just came back from training ground. Their missions were tough recently, so she wanted to make a good use of their spare time. Welrod has given her approval to the plan and currently delivering the invitation to the Commander.
