Reverse Collapse Items/2092R
Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery's 2092R utilizes an inventory system similar to Codename: Bakery Girl, with items using assets from Reverse Collapse's base game. In the base game (short-handed to RC:CB), an item can only take up 1 slot in the backpack with a set capacity, while in 2092R, the same item has an uncapped capacity, only limited by the amount of slots available in the backpack. For example, a Fragmentation Grenade in RC:CB will take 1 slot in the backpack, with a maximum capacity of 6 grenades, while in 2092R, the player can carry up to 3 grenades per backpack slot, up to a maximum of 72 grenades in a fully-upgraded 24-slot backpack. In both games, the capacity can be uncapped if characters pick up items found on the map, and excess items will go directly into storage post-battle.
Items in 2092R cannot be upgraded, and keep the same stats throughout an entire playthrough. For items to scale properly from beginning to end, some items (such as healing items) will do percentage healing, and offensive items such as grenades are encouraged to be saved to synthesize better items such as trip mines.
Crafting in 2092R is much more limited compared to RC:CB, with item production disabled, preventing the creation of items such as Grenades and First Aid Kits. Alternatively the player must find these in battle if they wish to stock up. 2092R instead pushes the Synthesis Catalog, designed to provide upgrades to existing items the player already has, at the cost of Parts. Certain Attachments or crafting materials found throughout the map such as Sights, Steel Plates, and Submachine Guns can be synthesized into equipment such as Monitoring Devices, Barricades, and Sentry Towers respectively. Similar to RC:CB, a character can use their AP to craft an upgrade in the middle of battle.
Exclusive to 2092R, the player can find a Lightweight Engine and combine it with a Infrared Detector to create a UAV Recon Drone, becoming a moving Sensor similar to a character, with an attack that debuffs the enemy's evasion.
In a later mission, Blood for Blood, after Jevon and Atena reach Mendo, Jefuty, and Carl, Atena will provide an upgraded Reverse Collapse Shuttle during Battlefield Preparation, allowing for Item Production of Attachments, First Aid Kits, Base Damage, and Function items. This is the only time in the entire playthrough of 2092R where these items can be crafted. As Sights can be produced in this menu, this is also the only time an item can be mass produced to create additional equipment, being Sensors.
