Klukai, formerly AR HK416HK416HK416 in GFL and ClukayClukay in PNC, is a
Corrosive AR unit who excels in dealing AoE damage reminiscent of her kit from PNC. She is recommended for Commanders who lack effective means to deal with large groups. She works well with Peritya and Mechty, with the former being easier to obtain.
Weapon Background
Official Character Description
Elegant and composed; a Doll brimming with confidence. She aspires to make every member of H.I.D.E. 404 into an elite. Only those who are familiar with her know the tenderness that lies behind her cold, strong-willed demeanor.
Cold as ice, the most elite Doll, Klukai, has arrived, and so victory is forever assured. She’s now the unquestioned leader of Squad 404, her very presence strikes fear in the heart of her enemies, and she writes victory with a brush of brutality. With an iron fist, she will ensure that Squad 404 is steered firmly on the path to excellence. Such is Klukai, passing like thunder and moving like the wind, living with steel resolve. Commander, I’m the only one you need. “Acting leader of H.I.D.E. 404, elite Doll Klukai, has arrived. It’s been a while, Commander.”[3]
Graceful and cold, she bears herself with complete confidence and will lead H.I.D.E. 404 to excellence. Only those close to the talented Klukai know that behind her strong and severe demeanor there exists a more soft and cherishing side.[4]

Trivia
- Character PV, Live PV
- Klukai's gameplay was implemented to take advantage of the auto-battle systems and reduce the difficulty of the game, which was one of the main critics by players at launch in the CN servers.[5]
- Despite the two playable units having the same Chinese name, Sunborn introduced different names in English for Klukai and ClukayClukay . She is still referred to as Clukay in game files.
- According to Klukai and Andoris profile and Into the Shadows, the name “Klukai” is derived from “Krokodil” for “crocodile”. Though she already used this codename during Project Neural Cloud, she chose to reuse it as a foil to Leva (derived from “lion”), both leaders of Squad 404 representing the apex predators in water and on land in the savannah.[6] According to producer Yuzhong, her name has a “German flavor”.[7]
- Her "Speeding Star" costume bears similarities to AR HK416HK416HK416 7th costume "Midnight Evangelion" in GFL.
- HK416 was the first character introduced in 3D to announce Girls' Frontline 2 back in 2018. She was also teased during Sunborn's talk at the Inven Game Conference in Korea on 13 October 2023, a few months before the game's release, but was only introduced nearly a year later.[8]
- As part of a promotion event, a Klukai voice and theme were added to the Baidu Maps (百度地图) GPS application on 9 September 2024.[9]
- Despite only being released 4 months before Exilium's first anniversary, Klukai was the Doll players gave the most gifts to during the game's first year.[10]
- During the first Glittering Starwish, Klukai won first place by a ridiculous margin at over 57 million points, while the second place (Alva) received less than 10 millions.[11]
