Spirits is a system added to Project Neural Cloud with the event Irradiant Awakening, unlocked by clearing chapter 5-10. It functions similarly to Technical Fairies in Girls' Frontline.
Spirits are chibi forms of former Sanctifier enemies like Hope, Love, Faith and Reverence. They are obtained in the Spirit Generation gacha and come with randomized skills.
Spirits are assigned to a team before combat and provide stat boosts, passive skills and extra Tactical Skills.
Spirits can be upgraded up to level 50 and from rarity 1 to 5 to enhance their stat boosts. They receive new skills at rarities 3 and 5. Level increases with a dedicated currency while rarity increases by fusing with Spirits of the same type. Skills can also be transplanted between Spirits.
