Weapon Background

Prototype machinegun develop by General Dynamics, a gas-operated, long-stroke piston with a rotating bolt machinegun that chambers the .338 calibre rounds (.338 Norma by default, but can be converted to fire .338 Lapua.), able to provide fire support at an effective range of 1700 metres at a fire rate of 500 rounds per minute. LWMMG also features quick-change barrel and collapsible stock, picatinny rails to improve accessory compatibility.

LWMMG was designed to fill the fire support gap between 7.62×51mm medium and 12.7×99mm calibre heavy machineguns, especially to provide more effective fire support and penetration of cover at a range 7.62×51mm medium machineguns (such as the servicing M240) can not effectively cover, all while remain more mobile than a 12.7×99mm calibre Browning machinegun.

• High stats, hunting impulse skill, easy expansions and highly rated artwork, LWMMG is one of the recommended MG units to level for beginners.
  • With the added Neural upgrade modification, it is now even more convincing to level up LWMMG.
• Because of Chinese Pinyin, putting in letters LWMMG in sequence in certain keyboard typing software will yield 老王摸摸狗 as a result, which translates to "Old man Wang pets the dog", this eventually became LWMMG's nickname amongst the Chinese player base. RFF himself also picked up on this joke.
• LWMMG's self-conscious but eager-to-prove personality is likely a reference to the prototype nature of the LWMMG weapon system that, at the time of her conception, has not seen any real combat despite having great potential.
• The title of ^MG LWMMGLWMMGLWMMG's "My Lie in December" outfit is a reference to "Your Lie in April" (Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso), a slice of life anime about a piano prodigy.
• LWMMG's real name is Lam, a Universal Anything Services RM&IA model designed for finance, accountancy and auditing. After being induced into the Project Neural Cloud experiment by her company, her neural cloud was offered to Griffin & Kryuger to field test Imprint Technology.
  • The costume "Salary Wizard" is a reference to LWMMG's past job in financing and accounting.
