Strategies

A boss tailored for Vector.

There is no effective way to deal direct damage to Koshmar: she's invincible as long as her summons have HPs and when all summons are down, she gains a 90% damage reduction. Indirect damage must be dealt to her by repetitively taking down her summons: every time the HPs of a summon are depleted, Koshmar will lose 4% of her HP.

The quickest way to take the summons down is with AoE attacks, but there's a catch in the form of powerful retaliatory attacks for any summon taken down without using burn or melee attacks. This is why Vector, focused on AoE Burn attacks, is optimal for this boss. Dolls capable of retaliating multiple time during Koshmar's turn, such as Peritya, are also be useful.

Lore / Story involvement

An evolving AI created by Harpsy as part of the gamification of Mechty's training program. She accidentally made it too complex, enabling it to piece together her own identity based on the neural data of Mechty and Vector. As Mechty and Vector progressed in the "training program", the AI quickly grew in complexity until she reached the same level as a Doll. Hungry for more data, she planned to take over Mechty and Vector's bodies to experience the real world and eventually get her own body.[1] She chose her name as the reverse of Mechty's, which means “dream”.[2] However, her persona was merely a patchwork of Vector and Mechty's memories of the eight members of Squad 404, not an independent entity. She attempted to steal the data of all eight members to reach "completion". She was defeated by Vector, Klukai, Mechty, Harpsy, Ruchey and Welrod, and attempted to soft-lock the last quest in the game so that they would become trapped in the game .[3]
