Intertwined Assault
Intertwined Assault is a time limited event in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium and the third event to run in CN. It introduced Lenna as a playable character.

Overview
CN version
In CN, farming stages and event shops had not been implemented at the time of this event. Similar to Exotic Cadence, the currencies for Intertwined Assault only dropped from the Cloud Exercise mode, an implementation of the Environmental Survey minigame. These currencies were then used to roll in two lotteries:
- Surprise Data Pool: unlimited lottery with standard items and a limited pool of rare items, operated with
Lion's Mane Awards. - Pattern Tracing: limited lottery with rare items, operated by using a complete set of the five "skill" items:
Setting Traps, 
Behavioral Analysis, 
Intrusion Investigation, 
Spatial Deception and 
Risk Assessment.[1]
Global version
This event's farming tickets are 
Transport Permits.
Daily commissions in Enemy recon reset each day after 05:00 (UTC-4), there are three tasks to do and they differ after reset ranging from supply missions to combat simulations. Reward per task completed gives you 50 
Insider Intels as well as reaching 120 Recon Score gives you a portrait titled Protecting Smile.

Story
The story of the original CN event was not added to the Past Events menu. A completely new story was instead written under the same title and added to the main story as Chapter 12.5. This chapter was added to the campaign in CN in June 2025 and ran as a new version of the event in Global in November 2025.
