Weapon Background
MP-443 is the designation for a 9x19mm calibre semi automatic pistol type handgun produced by Izhevsk Mechanical Plant (Now part of Kalashnikov Concern), MP-443 is sometimes referred to by it's designer's name as Yarygin Pistol, but it is also known as Grach (Rook) from the military trials. Design finished around 2000, it was adopted as the standard service sidearm for Russia's military and law enforcement. The weapon was produced in small batches prior to 2011 and supplied to selected units, the financial situation at the time and the large amount of stockpiled Makarov pistols dissuaded the mass production of Grach. Eventually in 2011, Grach entered mass production and is speculated to completely replace Makarov pistol by 2019.
Grach classifies as a double-action, short recoil operated pistol, chambered for 9x19mm calibre cartridges such as the Russian 7N21 armor piercing ammo and 9mm Parabellum. Initially designed to feed from a double-column magazine of 17 rounds in capacity, but 18 rounds magazines are also manufactured as of 2004. Primary build material of Grach is steel, the barrel is stainless steel while the gun frame is carbon steel, the grip/magazine housing piece is made of polymer. Other feature include the ambidextrous safety reachable with the thumb, magazine release press at the base of the trigger guard and the fixed front sight coupled with an adjustable rear sight.
Tactical accessories such as tactical light and laser sights can be fitted on the pistol with the assistance of weaver rail, which Grach can mount. The civilian market variant of Grach is designated as MP-446 Viking.[1]
Character Design
Grach appears around 150-155cm of body height, using her weapon as a comparison scale model. Grach appears not only taller, but also overall more girly than her sister HG MP-446MP-446MP-446, due to her pink hair and her short skirt. She can be seen carrying gem stones with her, even to the battlefield, she carves gem stones into what appears to be prism shape to resemble stars.

Trivia
- Initially, Grach was intended to be the February 2018 login reward on the CN servers; however, it was changed to HG CZ52CZ52CZ52 at the last minute. Grach was delayed until her eventual release as June 2018's login reward.
- One of her voiced lines (currently unused in-game, but included in the game files) has her saying "yukkuri shite ne!" ("take it easy!"), possibly as a reference to her artist Yóukùlí (from "yukkuri", using Mandarin pronunciation) and to the catchphrase of the yukkuri critters from Touhou fandom.
