Betty at first tries to reason with the passengers, reminding them the vehicle was designated for mildly-infected individuals, claiming a special transport for severely-infected individuals will eventually come to pick up the latter. Mendo then modifies Squad G62's neural cloud to allow them to fire upon humans (in case they had to fight), as well as encourage Betty to try talking to the checkpoint guards once more, offering Collapse Crystals as a bribe. Betty's offer was initially considered, but shot down as the guards were more concerned about infected individuals. Finally, the guards compromised on demanding one of the passengers stay behind in order to let the transport through, leading to an argument between the passengers that exposed Yuri being a severely-infected individual. Slowly losing his mind and reasoning, Yuri fails to comply with the checkpoint guards causing him to be shot. The guards decide to silence the entire transport to prevent reprimanding from the GRF, devolving negotiations to a firefight.

Story

Betty, captain of Squad G62 of the 27th Rescue Team from the Global Rescue Foundation, was assigned to transport civilians out of the Caucasus, who were suffering from Reverse Collapse contamination in the area.

Along her transport route to Mineral Water City, Betty encounters Mendo and Jefuty, utilizing MID-provided pseudonyms Hurst and Lisa Lyon from Squad F201. Being a second-generation T-Doll, she was unable to see past their disguises and allowed the two to ride along with 4 other passengers (Dana, Anton, Lena, and Yuri). Arriving at the Cherkessk Highway, their vehicle encounters a URNC checkpoint, flagging them for increased transmission of ELID.

Betty at first tries to reason with the passengers, reminding them the vehicle was designated for mildly-infected individuals, claiming a special transport for severely-infected individuals will eventually come to pick up the latter. Mendo then modifies Squad G62's neural cloud to allow them to fire upon humans (in case of a conflict), as well as encourage Betty to try talking to the checkpoint guards once more, offering Collapse Crystals as a bribe. Betty's offer was initially considered, but shot down as the guards were more concerned about infected individuals. Finally, the guards compromised on demanding one of the passengers stay behind in order to let the transport through, leading to an argument between the passengers that exposed Yuri being a severely-infected individual. Slowly losing his mind and reasoning, Yuri fails to comply with the checkpoint guards, leading to his death. The guards decide to silence the entire transport to prevent reprimanding from the GRF, devolving negotiations to a firefight.

Betty initially tries to hack the checkpoint's barricade system to no avail. Mendo devises a plan to split the group in half, with Mendo, Valmet, and Ruby pushing the checkpoint's control tower to lower the barricades, while Jefuty, Betty, and Abigail stay behind to protect the transport. With the first group lowering the barricades successfully, the transport escapes from the checkpoint and UNRC forces.

A few hours pass taking routes away from URNC checkpoints, and Mendo requests Betty stops the transport to continue to a nearby safehouse on foot. Mendo also reverts Squad G62's neural cloud to erase any trace of their involvement with the checkpoint shootout. Betty plans a route along the mountain road North to avoid any further URNC checkpoints, and wishes Mendo and Jefuty safe travels, finally piecing together they aren't part of the GRF.

In a later Worldline, Betty reappears along with Squad G62, resuming their objective of transporting civilians for the GRF. Contacted by Mendo, his group requests the GRF relocate the civilians at Mineral Water City to use the place as a stronghold against URNC loyalists and Sugar. Mineral Water City was chosen for its high elevation for easier spotting and city battery defense system, providing an advantage against attackers. After relocating refugees, Betty and Squad G62 stayed behind to help out Mendo to return the favor, helping to fend off against mixed ground elements of the UNRC and Shrike abominations.

Post engagement, Mendo dismisses Betty and Squad G62 to allow them a safe withdrawal, grateful for their contributions.
