Background info[edit]
A Cyber Media CM.SL Web Host model. The CM.SL is a host Doll specially rolled out by Cyber Media in order to capture the streaming media market. In order to counter the prevailing market trend which favored sweet-looking and gentle personalities, Cyber Media chose to take an alternate approach. Thus, straightforwardness and being real-to-life were heavily favored when designing the CM.SL's default personality. The CM.SL features the latest linguistics learning module layered on to of an advanced emotion processing module, allowing it to quickly learn and use vast quantities of popular network slang and engage in friendly, close relations with online chat partners. In 2058, after many months of interaction, Kuro was sent to take part in Project Neural Cloud as a rare specimen of a Doll livestream host. Supposedly, the most difficult part of the negotiations was convincing Kuro to agree to the "no livestreaming allowed" clause of the experimental NDA. "Out of 100 replies, 70 are from bots and 20 are just shitposts... Damn you shitposters, just you wait! I'll be knocking on your door in no time!"[1]

Trivia[edit]
- Kuro is the original name of AR MDR
MDR
from Girls' Frontline.[2]
- The word “MDR” is painted on Kuro's drone, most visible on her base artwork. The Japanese word 無理 (muri, “no can do”) appears on her shirt. Her gun also appears to have keyboard keys on the side.
- According to a loading screen tip: “Kuro once posted 309 messages in one minute. Of those, only 52 were not censored, and all 52 were filler words.” Another tip reports that she gets into flame wars with Max.
