Weapon Background
The EM-2, also known as the Janson rifle or 'Rifle No.9 Mk1', was an experimental British assault rifle. It was briefly adopted by British forces in 1951, but the decision was overturned very shortly thereafter by Winston Churchill's incoming government in an effort to help secure NATO standardization of small arms and ammunition. An innovative weapon with a compact bullpup layout and an integrated optical sight, it used an intermediate cartridge as a result of combat experience and German advances in weapons design during World War II.
The EM-2 used the experimental .280 British round, which was designed to replace the .303 caliber round that the various Lee–Enfield rifle variants had used since before the turn of the 20th century. The round was moderately powerful, but highly efficient. The United States claimed the .280 British round was too weak for use in rifles and machine guns, and instead favored the much more powerful 7.62×51mm round. As the EM-2 could not be easily adapted to the longer and more powerful round, it would fade from use. The British would instead adopt a domestically-produced version of the Belgian-designed FAL rifle. However, a bullpup assault rifle was finally adopted some years later by the British military in the form of the SA80 assault rifle, the EM-2's spiritual successor, which remains in standard service today.
Character Background
A smart doll with many ideas. Her weakness is that she lacks confidence in her deductions and often refuses to accept them without conducting an actual test first. She likes biscuits, so much so that she has no problem having biscuits for all three daily meals. She hates the number 59, believing that it will bring her bad luck. She even avoids HG Type 59Type 59Type 59 on purpose due to this.

Trivia
- Her aversion towards the number 59 is a nod to the fact that only 59 units of the gun were ever built.
- AR EM-2EM-2EM-2's "Silver Bullet" costume is most likely a reference to "Detective Conan" (alt. title: "Case Closed"), a sleuth manga series about a young detective who is transformed into a child.
