Official Character Description

A reserved but strong Doll. After leaving Griffin, she became a warehouse manager for a large logistics company, but somehow started doing deliveries herself and became one of their best employees. She has since established her own team, Sakura Lucky Delivery, and is working to make it a big name in the contamination zone. Sakura had her fair share of setbacks because of her bad luck and shy disposition, but through her hard work and humble attitude, she has created many opportunities for herself. Come hell or high water, she'll keep searching for you, and all her efforts will be rewarded.^[2]

Sakura was first teased in March 2025 during the Deep Oblivion preview stream, then again in the preview streams of Interstice of Reminiscence and Antiparallel in September 2025.
Sakura (桜) is the Japanese word for cherry blossom petals and a common surname for women in Japan. This is the name under which ^SMG Type 100Type 100Type 100 was released on the CN server of Girls' Frontline. Type 100 was also called Sakura in the English version of her Neural Upgrade story.
- Sakura's delivery company is called "Ouka Kyuso" in English, which corresponds to the Japanese 桜花急送, meaning “Sakura Dispatch” (“Ouka” being an alternate pronunciation of “Sakura”). In other languages, it is instead called “Sakura Logistics” (JP: サクラ物流, CN: 樱花物流, KR: 사쿠라 물류).
Sakura's base weapon doesn't look like an actual Type 100 SMG and is closer in appearance to a PPSh-41, possibly for the same censorship reason that the name of the real weapon wasn't used in CN in the first game. Sunborn announced that the genuine appearance of the Type 100 would be available in the future with a weapon skin costing 1 Withdrawal Receipt.^[3] The skin was implemented in Global with Sakura's patch under the name Darkflame Glint, but it uses the futuristic style of Elite weapons instead of the realistic appearance that briefly appeared in Sakura's PV.
