Weapon Background[edit]
The AR-57 is a carbine/personal defense weapon designed and produced by AR57 LLC of Kent, Washington in the United States. It is available as either an upper receiver package for the AR-15/M16 rifle or as a complete rifle. Versions are offered in both semi-auto only and in select fire, and was marketed primarily to law enforcement agencies as a potential competitor to the FN P90.
While the AR-57 shares many outward similarities to the AR-15, there are a number of key differences. Unlike a standard AR-15, which uses a direct impingement system to work the action, the AR-57 instead cycles via conventional direct blowback in much the same way a submachine gun might. Where the differences become most apparent is with the ammunition. The AR-57 is chambered for the 5.7×28mm round developed by Belgian firearms manufacturer FN Herstal, and feeds from standard FN P90 magazines. Also like the FN P90, the AR57 ejects spent brass downwards, with casings falling out through what would normally be the magazine well on a standard AR-15. It is possible to use a hollow magazine inserted into this mag well as a brass catcher.
Character Background
She looks like an unapproachable girl, but after getting to know her well, you'll discover that she easily gets close to people. Most of her free time is spent on researching tactics and modifying her weapon, which has led to people mistaking her for a battle maniac. This misunderstanding has caused her some difficulty.

Trivia
- AR-57's physical appearance is similar to AR ST AR-15ST AR-15ST AR-15, which is likely a reference to how she's still part of the AR-15 platform family.
- Her damaged pose shares some similarities to that of SMG P90P90P90 but with a slightly different posture. This is likely done intentionally as a direct reference to how the rifle is simply an AR-15 with an upper receiver that feeds on 5.7×28mm rounds from a standard FN P90 magazine.
- The buttstock and front grip used by AR-57 are the HERA Arms CQR vertical grip and buttstock. They are not proprietary to the AR-57, and may also be used on other AR-15 platform rifles.
- Although almost all T-Dolls switch handedness between arts, the presence of an ambidextrous safety selector suggests she may be left-handed. This may also simply be an indicator of her proclivity for customization, similar to the above mentioned HERA Arms parts.
