Weapon Background

The QSZ-92 Services Pistol (Chinese: 92式手枪; pinyin: Jiǔ Èr Shí Shoǔqiàng or Jiǔ Shí Èr Shi Shoǔqiàng; literally: "Type 92 Handgun") is a semi-automatic pistol designed by Norinco.

The development of the QSZ-92 pistol began circa 1994 and it is now being adopted by the People's Liberation Army forces. The export variants (9mm version) include the CF-98 (barrel life c. 8000 rds) and the NP-42 (barrel life c. 10,000 rds). The latter is the basic version without provisions for suppressor etc. which has so far found commercial export in Canada.

The QSZ-92 is in limited service in the People's Liberation Army since the late 1990s, notably in People's Liberation Army Macau Garrison. The Chinese military has adopted the 9mm version over the 5.8mm one.

as the 9mm version is issued to soldiers while the 5.8mm is adopted by the commanders. QSZ-92 or CF 98 has been in the service of some Southern Asian armed forces outside the PRC.[1]

Character Design

Personality

She comes from a good background with very good training. Type 92 is a respectable female with grace and charisma. She doesn't like losing to "foreign products." Type 92 is extraordinarily frugal while hating any wasteful usage of resources outside of the budget.[3]

In-Game

Despite being a Three-stars T-Doll, Type 92's utility rivals other Five-stars T-Dolls due to her superior buff tiles.[4] She is very helpful to new commanders as her buff tiles will increase the combat effectiveness of all the T-Dolls in the formation. Her skill however is not very useful in particular so she is useful for her buff tiles not her skills. Until you get better HGs with better buff tiles like the Welrod MK2 and Contender, she will be of great assistance to you. A true "African War Goddess" (A term refer to T-Dolls that are easy to get but are very effective so they are excellent for new players as they will have few T-Dolls and resources to work with at the beginning) However, seasoned veterans will note that Type 92's usefulness is minimal in late games and sometimes known as the "beginner's trap." By late game, all players are recommended to find a good replacement for her.
