Weapon Background

KBP instrument design bureau's 9A-91 project had many sub-projects and derived prototypes, many of them were cancelled, some were kept and received further development, A-91 was one of the outcomes. Developed some time around 1990s, after the fall of Soviet Union and the establishment of Russian Federation, the initial project and weapon is named A-91, the later production model based on the finalized design are known as A-91M.

Building up from 9A-91's operating mechanism, A-91 classifies as a gas operated bullpup assault rifle with rotating bolt operation. Chambered for both 7.62 and 5.45x39mm Soviet intermediate rifle cartridges, later produced export models can chamber the 5.56x45mm NATO. Depending on chambering calibre, the rifle make use of the 30-round AK-47/M's 7.62 magazines, or AK-74/M's 5.45 magazines for feeding, export models have specially made polymer 5.56 calibre magazines.

Notable features on A-91 include the integrated muzzle-loaded 40mm grenade launcher fitted on to the rifle and functions as the weapon's forearm (early model launcher was located above the barrel). Due to this A-91 has a double trigger system, the rear trigger fires the gun while the frontal trigger operates the grenade launcher. Aiming of the weapon relies on iron sight, a choice of optics can be fitted directly on the integrated carrying handle. A forward ejection system is also in place, allows the empty shells to be ejected forward and avoiding the shooter's face, allowing ambidextrous firing.

A-91 is produced in small numbers, targeted clients on the market for the weapon is likely the same 9A-91, a rifle advertised for the policing and law enforcement departments of Russia, export models are likely advertised for similar organizations/agencies in foreign countries.

Character Design

A-91 is a T-Doll around 145-150cm of body height, she can be always be seen with a liquor bottle and regularly take sips from it, her leather tool belt even carries spare cans instead of magazines. Her outfit consist of white leather hat and overcoat, beneath the overcoat she seem to be wearing a black latex one piece body suit, the suit itself covers the function of torso, leggings and high heel boots (note the dagger placement behind her high heels).

Judging by the bottom grenade launcher placement and the magazine's appearance, she is carrying the finalized model of 5.45mm Soviet chambering variant of A-91M.
