Weapon Background[edit]
The PM-5 is a 12-gauge pump-action magazine-fed shotgun developed by Italian company Valtro. It was first introduced back in the 1980's, and is still in use today with some law enforcement and military forces, including the French Navy.[1]
The PM-5 is unique in that it has a removable magazine, unlike most pump action shotguns, which are built using under-barrel tube magazines. The magazines hold 7 rounds, and an additional round can be carried in the chamber for a total shot capacity of 8 rounds. Both 7 round and 10 round magazines were manufactured, although the 7-round magazines are much more common. Other than the feeding system, the PM-5 is a fairly conventional, manually-operated pump-action shotgun. The detachable box magazine greatly improves reloading time and balance, with only drawback being the increased height of the loaded weapon, but that isn't a major issue in most cases, as shotguns are rarely fired from the prone position. The PM-5 was offered with the choice of either a fixed or top-folding stock.[2]
The PM-5 is renowned for its simplicity, light weight, and reliability. Allegedly, the PM-5 was first manufactured by Beretta. Currently, the PM-5 is produced by Brixia Shotguns in Italy, a company that bought the Valtro brand after it declared bankruptcy.
Character Background
Introverted and afraid of people, she appears to look down on herself due to past experiences. In battle, she seeks stable results, but tends to overload in key moments because she worries too much about everything. She envies SG SPAS-12SPAS-12SPAS-12 and recently she's been trying to match up to her in appetite.
