Hanyang practically retains every physical and mental aspect of Ai, Ai presents herself as a maid of a coffee shop, much of Hanyang's personality resembles the same job and she address the Commander as "Master" to represent the Master/Servant relationship. Hanyang often refers to herself as Ai.
Background story of Girls Frontline would suggest Hanyang owns a coffee shop[1], much of her quotations are based on a coffee shop waitress. Her quotations also mentions heat waves, Wuhan is one of the hottest city in the world, easily able to reach above 40 degrees Celsius of average temperature during the summer seasons.
Players who have been to the Wuhan Anime Festival felt like that Hanyang is a version of Ai they could put a ring on and interact more with.
