Weapon Background
The CM901 (the 'CM' standing for 'Colt Modular') is a select-fire rifle platform based on Colt's existing M16/M4 military designs. It shares the Stoner direct gas impingement system, as well as much of the action, controls, and basic aesthetics with previous Colt rifle designs.[1]
The CM901 system is built around custom-designed lower receiver, which features an enlarged magazine well that will accommodate 5.56×45mm rounds using a STANAG magazine or larger caliber ammunition using either a proprietary magazine or an SR-25 pattern magazine. The rifle sports many elements shared by current M-16/AR-15 variants on the market, including a pistol grip, telescopic stock, buffer tube, and ambidextrous controls for the bolt release mechanism, magazine release, and fire selector/safety lever.
The CM901 platform will accept a series of upper receiver assemblies, each one containing the respective action required to accommodate the various caliber rounds accepted by the weapon. Receivers will be available that accept 5.56×45mm NATO rounds, 6.8×43mm Remington SPC rounds, 7.62×39mm rounds, and 7.62×51mm NATO rounds. Each upper receiver has its own rail system, which allows scopes or other optics to be pre-sighted for each configuration, and swapped quickly to perform different tasks.

Surrounded by the brilliant achievements of her seniors, CM901 places great demands on herself and she has a great sense of responsibility and purpose. By relying on her outstanding adaptive ability, she is always at the forefront of any mission she carries out quickly adapting to the battlefield conditions and adopting an appropriate countermeasure, which has won her the trust of her teammates. In order to work off her tension after extended periods under pressure, after missions, she often runs to places with nobody around to scream and dance in a frenzy. Naturally, she would never allow that side of herself to be seen by others.
