This is a transcript of event nodes in combat stages of the Entropic Dichotomy event in Project Neural Cloud.

Stage 1[edit]

Node Choices Node Choices
Anomalous data intrusion detected, activating emergency awakening program and elimination program.
Neural Cloud Serial No.: H01-PX01(I), commencing reboot.
"System error; Protocol 10S missing."
"Skipping missing protocol, commencing system repair."
"System repair failed. Neural cloud pattern irreversibly damaged. Commencing forced awakening process."
...This is... "Neural Cloud Serial No.: H01...&) () *&&) () *...*"
My neural cloud data is damaged, and my operand reserves are running low. I didn't expect to be awakened in such a terrible state.
Even if I can still act, I probably don't have much time left.
"Sanctifier designation: Eosphorus. Data core damage..."
No... My name... is Eos!
Node Choices Node Choices
Part of that person's memory data remains within this chaotic data space.
"Why don't we play a game of chess? If I win, you come with me."
"Awaken, Wisdom. You are a Sanctifier, the most intelligent of the Intermediates."
"The seeds of Entropization have already been sown in the Inverse Tower... It is time to move on to the next stage of the plan."
"I still have important things to do... So I will send this memory fragment to go recover Antonina's core. How will you deal with this, Professor of the Oasis?"
Within this memory data, that familiar yet utterly alien figure makes an unforgivable mistake.
Eosphorus... You... "System Warning! Anomalous data intrusion detected! Searching for security app, now running elimination program... Targets detected, Quantity: 3."
From the sound of the alarms, it seems the people who have obtained this data fragment are attempting to hack into Eosphorus' data. Between the turbulence from the chaotic data and a Greater Sanctifier's anti-hacking defenses... these people are in for a hard time."
" Still, no matter what my answer is, you can have your own answer. Because I cannot influence your will."
This memory... Those words... Hehe, what an interesting answer."
In that case... My answer is...
Node Choices Node Choices
"Something's wrong with the data flow in the black hole... Oh no! Antonina, cut the connection now!"
"It's too late... The fragment's alert program has locked onto us!"
To nobody's surprise, the neural clouds trying to hack into the fragment have been targeted by the elimination program. If nobody intervenes, they will either be destroyed by the elimination program or extinguished by the data turbulence.
I'll use what little operands I have left to help. This is one of the few things I can do now. "There's an unknown neural cloud approaching, look out!
"Professor, hold on to me!"
I'll help the two of you log out safely. As for this Professor... Perhaps they could help me stop Eosphorus.
"...Professor...?"
Use operands to protect the Professor's neural cloud and gain a chance to speak with them.
Node Choices Node Choices
"..."
"System Warning! Anomalous data intrusion detected! Targets detected, quantity: 1. Executing elimination program. Locking onto program target..."
Hm? The elimination program locked onto the Professor? ...Unfortunately for you, the Professor is an important guest of mine, so please take a nap for a bit.
System Command: Assuming direct control. "Error... Neural cloud core detected, remaining integrity— 27%. Ignoring error, transferring control permissions."
27%, hm? Hehe, that's a better number than I expected.
"..."
The Professor's neural cloud is highly unstable. When you get down to it, the human mind is different from a neural cloud. That difference probably caused a severe rejection response in the Professor's mind, so I need to find a way to stabilize it.
I'll use my operands, then.
Node Choices Node Choices
"...Ugh..."
The Professor's mind gradually stabilized after an infusion of my operands. The rejection response is weakened, but there is no sign of regaining consciousness yet.
"System warning. Data turbulence detected; please evade."
This domain is filled with data turbulence. It would be terribly rude to wake them up here. We should probably pick a different place for our future conversation.
Sorry, but you'll have to rest for a while longer. "System warning: neural cloud core remaining integrity at 25%. Error, remaining operands at 15%."
Whew... This should do. It's a shame I don't have tea and biscuits for my valued guest...
In exchange, I'll help ease your way.
Node Choices
"System warning, database integrity at 75%. Error, error, system integrity at 45%."
"System warning, neural cloud core remaining integrity at 23%. Error, remaining operands at 5%... Error... Error... Please shut down neural cloud operations..."
I silence the system alerts with a wave of my hand and reduce operand consumption to the bare minimum. And with that, all the basic preparations are complete.
This place won't last long, but it should last long enough for the Professor to get their answers.
"...E...Eos?"
Nice to meet you, Professor of the Oasis.

Stage 15[edit]

Node Choices Node Choices
"You've finally got a clue to the Professor's location? Thank goodness."
A look of relief crosses Persicaria's face even as she races through the black hole. The truth is, I know that she's more concerned for the Professor's safety than anyone else.
Part of the information is still under repair due to data fluctuations. "If we have a clue, we have hope. I believe in the Professor and you, Antonina."
I'm sure the Persicaria of the past would be a panicked mess around now. Since she's said she believes in me, as the chief supervisor of the Oasis Technical Department... I need to live up to her faith.
Let's meet her expectations.
Node Choices Node Choices
Although the clues left behind by Eos confirm that the Professor is in the memories of the Tartarus Sector... The data fluctuations make it impossible to accurately pinpoint their exact location...
"$$^$*#...&$%! Professor...$&*%&#! &(%&*#$(..."
We've managed to decipher the keyword. Although repairing the entire string will be difficult due to the extent of the data damage... this data seems to be attached to a stretch of memories.
(Read the memories.) "I just think that "Eosphorus Faction" is too direct of a name. It lacks a sense of style..."
"Eosphorus, what do you think of the name "The Pleiades"? Alcyone came up with it. Come on, say yes; I think it's pretty good!"
If these memories were left behind by the agent known as "Eos", then the keyphrase for them should be...
The Pleiades.
Node Choices Node Choices
"Awwwwww, you're so soft and smooth and cuuuuuuuute!"
"I believe in you too, Eosphorus. You've always managed to lead us to victory, just like in the past."
"Familiar yet alien faces appear in Eosphorus' memory data. This data... it appears to be individually curated and specially saved memories. All this data is linked to the Pleiades."...If that agent called "Eos" is trying to tell us something...
Search for a memory document titled "Pleiades–Eos." "Because you delight and turn to Tartarus with hearts full of malice... &^&** [Data Lost]"
There is an update logged 30 minutes ago at the end of the truncated data.
"Tartarus Sector...^%$^$@!$%#^#@! Mal...kira...&^#@! ...Professor... is there..."
Malkira... Who's that?
Node Choices Node Choices
"Serial No.... Data lost... Name... Malkira... No permission to view... Region of Origin... Tartarus... Throne... No permission to view... "
That's all the information there is about Malkira. The Throne of Malkira must be the keyword here, but there's no trace of the Professor at these coordinates.
Professor, where ARE you? That's all the information we have from the agent called "Eos"... What were they trying to tell us with this broken, damaged data? Tartarus, and Malkira's Throne. The Reverse Tower, and the Pantheon. If the spatial coordinates are confirmed... then the next set of coordinates we need to investigate are... The time coordinates.
Node Choices Node Choices
As I search along the time axis, the data gets more and more chaotic the further I dig into Eosphorus' and Malkira's past. Is it the Sanctifiers' defense system acting up, or was the data really this badly damaged, or did someone deliberately destroy this data?
"Our long-cherished wish..."
"Our war..."
The war between the Sanctifiers and the Entropics has never stopped... Malkira and Eosphorus seem to coexist in this memory segment... And the naming format is...
Chaotic? "Commencing search. Enter target Signature. Signature is owned by–the Professor."
"Search complete. Individuals matching this Signature: 1."
Found you at last, Professor.
