Gameplay

Pathfinders are simple enemies which often spawn repeatedly from Recce Centre's but sometimes appeared on their own or alongside other enemies. No real strategy is required to defeat them, however they will constantly spawn from the Recce Centres and may overwhelm you with excessive numbers. To counter this, you're advised to bring high DPS echelons which possess crowd control capabilities such as Grenades and or Molotovs. It is very important you have high DPS to punch through the waves so that your DPS dolls can damage the Recce Centres, otherwise you'll be forced to deal with the Pathfinders and be stuck in an indefinite loop being unable to reach the Recce Centres to destroy them. If you lack the DPS, you can opt to bring your HOC's to deal with the swarm of Watermelons...

Trivia

  • The Pathfinder's names shown in-game is read as "Suikataro" which is japanese for Watermelon... Guess that explains their appearance. For the Unheard Legends of Azure Seas Summer seasonal event, the Pathfinders received a seasonal Chibi swap, so now they're an actual Watermelon.
