Weapon Background
The Type 82 Submachinegun (1982年式衝鋒槍) is a Chinese copy of the Polish FB PM-63. During the Sino-Vietnamese War of 1979 the Chinese People's Liberation Army captured PM-63 submachineguns from Vietnamese forces, and later manufactured unlicensed copies. The Type 82 is a copy of early production models of the PM-63; significant differences from the original PM-63 are the addition of a sling point on the left side of the chassis, and access to 40-round magazines.
Despite being captured and intended for use by the People's Liberation Army, the Type 82 was never adopted by the army; it was used by Armed People's Police and later by regular police in a limited fashion. The Type 82 was intended for use as a primary weapon by frontline combat units, unlike the PM-63 which was designed as a sidearm for vehicle crews. However the Type 82 was plagued with mechanical problems and high manufacturing costs, due to its complex internal design. Furthermore, the reciprocating slide sits very close to the user's face, and eye injuries are possible if holding the gun too close to your face while using the shoulder stock. For this reason, most operators don't use the shoulder stock.
The Type 82 was manufactured in very limited numbers owing to these factors, thus making it extremely rare. Despite this, Norinco exhibited the Type 82 at international arms fairs in the 1980s and 1990s.[1]
Character Background

While she didn't do well during her time in the police department, she used her long experience playing galgames to create the ideal "walkthrough" to maxing out the affection of her colleagues and ended up becoming something like a mascot to the team. For Kasumi, entering Griffin is nothing more than starting a New Game+ after 100%-ing her first playthrough. For instance, she's been working hard to map the personality and likes of the one "capture target" that the Griffin Dolls have never been able to crack, namely, the Commander...

- Outside of law enforcement, Type 82 SMGs were known to be used by the gangster Yip Kai-Foon, having been smuggled into Hong Kong during the last days of British rule.
