Weapon Background
The Type 82 Submachinegun(1982年式衝鋒槍) is a direct copy of Polish FB PM-63. During the Sino-Vietnamese War in 1979, the Chinese People's Liberation Army captured PM-63 SMG from the Vietnamese vehicle crew, and later 'illegally' produced after through research and disassembly. The Type 82 is basically a 1967 version of PM-63 which was used by the Vietnamese tank and vehicle crew: it retains a shorter spring and a one-piece tungsten fire rate reducer. The only difference from the original FB PM-63 is the additional sling point which is located on the left side of the weapon.
Despite based on the captured PM-63 by the People's Liberation Army in the Sino-Vietnamese war, the Type 82 Submachinegun was not adopted by the army; it was used by Armed People's Police and later by regular police in a limited unit. The Type 82 Submachinegun was intended to be used by the frontline unit, unlike PM-63 which was designed to be used by vehicle crew. However the Type 82 is plagued with mechanical problems and expensive manufacturing costs due to complex internal design. Furthermore, the operating mechanism involves the upper breechblock will hit the operator's eye if one cannot manage the distance; therefore most operators don't utilise the retractable stock in order to prevent being hit by the breechblock. Because of those problems, the Type 82 Submachinegun was manufactured in very limited numbers thus making it extremely rare; Despite this, Norinco did promote the Type 82 to the international arms fair in the 1990s.[1]
Character Background
This is Kasumi, an energetic, sunny girl with a head full of fantasies. While she didn't do well during her time in the police department, she used her long experience playing galgames to create the ideal "walkthrough" to maxing out the affection of her colleagues and ended up becoming something like a mascot to the team. For Kasumi, entering Griffin is nothing more than starting a new game after 100%-ing the previous one. For instance, she's been working hard to map the personality and likes of the one "capture target" that the Griffin Dolls have never been able to crack, namely, the Commander...
