====Florentine's Gift: "My Lie in December"====
During the holiday Christmas party, LWMMG is tasked with laying the presents under the Christmas tree. She accidentally falls asleep due to the overburden of tasks she has to pick up from her slacking Echelon members. Springfield uses LWMMG in a scheme to force her Echelon members to complete their tasks in order to prepare for the holiday party later that evening.
LWMMG was sleeping inside a pile of presents on the day of the Christmas party. She woke up and realized she could not waste any more time with her tasks. The presents had already been laid out, so she began finishing her other work.

{{doll name|Springfield|RF|4}} appeared while looking for her, calling LWMMG “Miss Lam”. LWMMG considered protesting the name but decided not to, stating that she owes Springfield an apology for having done some cache-clearing and thus having been 1246 seconds slower in sorting out the presents than expected. She claimed she would take responsibility for exceeding the allotted time. Springfield chuckled quietly, telling LWMMG to relax as they were not in battle, and there would be no scolding for being over 20 minutes late. LWMMG argued that she should have carried out the task more diligently as there was probably more work waiting for her after. Springfield paused, with LWMMG taking note that this was an uncommon sight. Springfield advised LWMMG to consult her schedule, at which point LWMMG attempted to recall where she had placed it. Springfield then informed LWMMG that she remembered some of it and directed LWMMG to follow her to {{doll name|Zas M21|AR|5}}’s location.

Zas’ task was to knit socks for everyone on the base. Springfield stated that she would not need to worry now that Miss Lam was here. LWMMG again noted the name, but kept these thoughts to herself with the rationale that the mission was the most important thing and that they can call her whatever they want. Zas, however, had already completed the task to Springfield’s surprise. When asked if she had knitted an entire base’s work of socks by herself, Zas shook her head, stating a passing friend had helped her. Springfield did not inquire further, taking LWMMG by the hand and hurrying toward the door to find {{doll name|NTW-20|RF|5}}. NTW-20 was tasked with shoveling snow, but by the time Springfield and LWMMG arrived, the task was already completed as some T-Dolls had already came to help her out. LWMMG asked Springfield what was going on. Springfield did not answer the question, and was starting to drag LWMMG away by the hand to search for {{doll name|Five-seveN|HG|5}} when LWMMG stopped her. LWMMG requested Springfield to wait a minute, directly inquiring if she was hiding something from her. LWMMG had noticed Springfield’s volume rose 10 decibels whenever she said they were moving on and that there was not need to do so if Springfield was only talking to her. She deduced this meant Springfield was telling someone else what to do next. Springfield stated that LWMMG was perceptive. LWMMG asked what Springfield was scheming, but Springfield denied it, stating she was not the one with a scheme. Rather than give LWMMG a long-winded explanation, she intended to show LWMMG what was going on.

Springfield took LWMMG to the banquet hall where Five-seveN was present. To LWMMG’s surprise, the Commander, {{doll name|MK48|MG|4}}, {{doll name|M249 SAW|MG|4}} were also there. LWMMG asked why the Commander was here and why M249SAW and MK48 were asleep. The Commander scratched the back of their head sheepishly and explained they were helping LWMMG finish her work. M249SAW and MK48 were secretly helping all this time, and Springfield had guessed it, which is why she announced each task so loudly. Springfield confirm this, although she hadn’t expected the Commander to be involved as well.

LWMMG inquired why they did so given it was her job to begin with. Commander was about to explain but hesitated for a moment, as he noted the sleeping T-Dolls looked so innocent, before stating they wanted to help lighten LWMMG’s load with the plan of inviting her to the party after the work was done. LWMMG then asked why they couldn’t have helped directly instead of sneaking around. Springfield explained that if they had, then LWMMG would surely try to repay them in the future and that the two T-Dolls didn’t want LWMMG to owe them a favor.

The Commander then asked Springfield is saying that was wasting the two T-Dolls efforts. Springfield replied no, because M249SAW and MK48 should have completed those tasks in the first place. The Commander was still confused, with Springfield explaining that she was tricked all of them. All the requests that she had told LWMMG about were actually assignments that were supposed to have been done by MK48 and M249SAW. They had skipped out on the work and Springfield needed to ensure the Christmas party would go forward normally. LWMMG realized that she had never had a schedule to begin with.

With that resolved, Springfield wished LWMMG and the Commander a Merry Christmas and reminded them to attend the party later. The Commander was impressed that Springfield had managed to fool even him, calling her computational capability to be truly formidable. LWMMG however, had another question for Springfield, asking what she would have done if she had remembered that sorting out the presents was her only job. Springfield told LWMMG that being too perceptive wasn’t a good thing, and asked if she was sure she wanted to know why. LWMMG did, so Springfield gave a hint, telling LWMMG to think about why she was clearing her cache in the first place. LWMMG tried to think, but could not recall anything at all. Springfield then stated she could make an exception and give another hint, a single word: “lies”. A frightening thought occurred to LWMMG as she came to an epiphany. Springfield then apologized if she caused any distress, claiming everything she had just said now was a lie. LWMMG could choose to believe that lie, however, if she wanted to know the truth, LWMMG could ask the two sleeping T-Dolls when they woke up. However, Springfield preferred if LWMMG could believe in her friends. LWMMG suddenly said the phrase “the bonds among us are the source of our strength. Don’t worry, I’ll keep moving on…”, confusing herself for saying it out of nowhere. Her eyes suddenly grew moist as memories of intense battles, flying bullets, and fallen friends flashed through her mind. LWMMG walked up to the sleeping MK48 and M249SAW and gentle patted their heads.

The scene changed to a flashback with Springfield asking LWMMG where MK48 and M249SAW went. LWMMG stated she knew, as they were discussing how to finish the work her for without letting her know over their comm channel. Springfield inquired if LWMMG intended to not stop them. LWMMG stated she wanted to see their plan succeed, but also that even if they didn’t finish their own work, she would do it for them. Springfield said only LWMMG was capable of such kindness, but if she kept doing this, her neural cloud was going to give out sooner or later. Springfield then stated, in her role as the party manager, that she could only approve half of the proposal since MK48 and M249SAW had to handle their own tasks after all. Springfield then proposed LWMMG delete part of her memories, to tell a lie to make everyone’s wishes come true.

The flashback ended as LWMMG realized she had lied to herself. LWMMG asked if the two sleeping T-Dolls had already forgotten that battle. The Command attempted to interject, but LWMMG said it was alright and that she doesn’t remember anything. She planned to wait for MK48 and M249SAW to wake up. Although strictly speaking it was no longer Christmas Day, LWMMG still wanted to go to the party with them. She requested the Commander to allow her to delay the rest of her tasks, and the Commander confirmed that of course she may do so.

LWMMG Story Quotes

"I can't sleep yet, I still have work to do..."

This article still needs to be completed. You can help us by contributing.

Personality

LWMMG is a Doll who is serious and hard-working to a fault. She always considers the needs of the mission and her teammates above all else, especially her personal safety, which puts her at odds with those teammates who give more weight to the life of a Doll than her. This is likely because of the influence of her previous job.

Because of her name is too long to pronounce, other members of Griffin including the Commander have nicknamed her “Lam”, which she has reluctantly accepted.
