m Its not each magazine/clip, we use clip to denote an MG/SG's ammo size on the wiki, so it should stay as such to avoid confusion.

Weapon Background

The RPK-203 is a variant of the RPK-74 (Ruchnoy Pulemyot Kalashnikova, or 'Kalashnikov Hand-held Machine Gun), an updated version of the Soviet light machine gun originally developed by legendary arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov in the early 1960s. It was created to help standardize the small arms inventory of the Soviet Red Army, replacing the RPD light machine gun that had served since the 1940s.[1]

Mechanically, the RPK and its numerous variants are for the most part functionally identical to the Kalashnikov assault rifles, using the same long-stroke gas piston system that the AK series is known for and sporting a modified AKM recoil spring assembly. Some modifications were made from the standard AK design, such as the barrel being both heavier and longer to facilitate sustained fire, the removal of the bayonet lug, the inclusion of a bipod, and the lengthening of the receiver to lower the fire rate.

The RPK-203 is primarily based on the RPK-74M, an updated version of the RPK-74. The RPK-74 was introduced in 1974 together with the AK-74 assault rifle, and was chambered for the new 5.45×39mm intermediate cartridge. On this version of the RPK, the rear stock trunnion was strengthened and the magazine well was reinforced with steel inserts. Additionally, the RPK-74 has a modified return mechanism, which uses a new type of metal spring guide rod and recoil spring. The rear sight assembly, forward handguard, and receiver dust cover were all retained from the original RPK. The RPK-74M (Modernizirovannij, or "Modernized") is an updated variant of the RPK-74 developed during the mid-'70s. In line with the AK-74M assault rifle variant, the RPK-74M lower handguard, gas tube cover, pistol grip, and stock are made from a black, glass-filled polyamide plastic. The stock is shaped like the RPK-74 fixed stock, but also side-folds like the RPKS-74 paratrooper variant. The stock additionally has an easier-to-use release mechanism, replacing the bullet press release from the RPKS and RPKS-74. Each RPK-74M is fitted with a side-rail bracket for mounting optics. It also includes most of the 74M's economic changes, such as the dimpled-on barrel hardware, the omission of lightening cuts from the front sight block and piston, and a stamped gas tube release lever.

As mentioned earlier, the RPK-74 and RPK-74M were chambered in the 5.45x39mm cartridge. Two export variants of the RPK-74M were made, each chambered in a different caliber. The RPK-201 was chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge, while the RPK-203 is chambered in 7.62x39mm.

Character Background

She's a skilled operator, gentle and polite - or at least, that's what she's SAID to be like. In truth, she deals with people and things in a very harsh way, and if someone slacks off or makes a mistake... Regardless of whether they're a Doll or the Commander, she will put a sweet smile on her face and deliver scathing criticism with the utmost sincerity.
