"Drone" model civilian-use target drone

A common target drone model only used for training and exercises. It can automatically record combat footage, that is... assuming the camera hasn't been shot out.

Appearances

The Training Drone makes its first appearance as the boss of 1-1, and returns as the boss of the 3 tiers of Data Simulations and occasionally serves as a decoy for the  Provocation Fairy.

A customisable one can be used in the training menu which allows users to configure its settings to simulate varying enemy stat values and whether your echelon is capable of dealing with it.

Gameplay

Go nuts, its just a training dummy... seriously, do you really need gameplay information about a stationary training dummy? just shoot it till its dead.

And of course its not a boss. Its just a regular machine classed enemy. Tips for this page will mainly cover data sims.

The GK Training Dummy is a durable, lightweight, and automated training drone designed to be shot at. It faithfully reports statistics such as firing accuracy, speed, and reaction times and is a mainstay of any respectable firing range. More zealous dolls often end up destroying these drones outright. It's main armament is comprised of a slab of metal extending from its right side, more to give it a silhouette resembling that of a weapon than anything. Rumour has it the dummy can also be set to fire imaginary bullets at dolls, dealing direct damage to their neural cloud by sapping them of the will to exist, however, nobody really uses this function because getting shot by a training dummy is considered deeply embarrassing.

For commanders who wish to learn how to defeat this despicable enemy as fast as possible and at all costs, a team of MGs with passive damage skills is often the most popular choice for the more durable models. Against weaker models, however, a team of high-firepower RFs can be suitable, as their very first shot will erase the dummy from existence.

Below is a list of the fastest possible times for dealing with this terrifying adversary:

  • Basic - 0.13s
  • Intermediate - 0.17 ~ 0.20s
  • Advanced - 1.33s
  • Note: The timers above are from the mainland CN server.

Any timer obtained lower than these numbers listed, were potentially obtained through the use of untested T-dolls, or through the use of 3rd party software or illegal means. If you see a lower timer, examine the formation used in the leaderboards and if possible, report it to staff on official channels.

Do not, under any circumstances, USE EXTERNAL SOFTWARE TO BOOST YOUR TIMERS!!! We will not be to blame for YOUR actions. If you get banned for failing to listen, YOU are to blame.


Trivia

  • Although the Training Drone is the first enemy we encounter in the game during the games tutorial, it does posses an actual firing animation. It's possible to trigger this animation by getting extremely close to the drone in 1-1 using an unsupplied doll and trying to attack it, however the Drone has an extremely short attack range, and most of our dolls cant effectively get close to it.
