MP7 Strategy Story Quotes Live2D

Individual Performance[edit]

Skill[edit]

MP7's skill Moon Dancer currently holds the highest active evasion bonus multiplier out of all the SMG dolls, a staggering 180% increase, the closest competitor would be SMG SuomiThumb button.pngSuomi  with her 150% multiplier. On top of the evasion bonus MP7 also receives movement speed bonus, so she can actually move around on the tiles in combat faster, useful for dodging incoming telegraphed attacks from special enemies. Her skill however will give her an attack damage and accuracy penalty, but it matters little, the AR dolls behind her under her protection will deal the damage for her.

The initial cooldown is relatively long, leaving MP7 relatively vulnerable without the added evasion for 6 seconds. Skill duration itself last for 5 seconds, skill cooldown is 8 seconds, meaning there is a skill downtime of 3 seconds (of vulnerability) in between each activation.

Stats[edit]

MP7's default statistic is not outstanding actually, 69 evasion places her around the middle of all the SMG dolls, but that's fine because her skill covers it. What actually makes MP7 great is her high HP pool, at lv100 and 5x dummy expansion, MP7's HP value is 990, in fact she is the 5th highest HP SMG, tied with SMG Honey BadgerThumb button.pngHoney Badger . Diagram below shows comparison MP7's stats (Green) compared to the average of SMGs (Red)

Combat Performance[edit]

MP7 is typically used in the center of a formation to take shots, when her skill is active her evasion sky rockets, and her enemy will struggle to hit her. Three other dolls can be compared to MP7 due to their similarities.

Compared to SMG SuomiThumb button.pngSuomi :

Suomi's skill is extremely similar to MP7's, it can actually be considered that MP7's skill is a further upgrade of Suomi's, albeit it has damage stat penalties. What would make MP7 more desirable is Suomi's super low default evasion rating, even below MP7. The full back line covering tiles is also a bonus, Suomi can only provide bonuses to 2 AR dolls.

Compared to SMG PM-06Thumb button.pngPM-06 :

PM-06 is chosen as a comparison due to her similar stats, when compared to MP7, PM traded 40 hitpoints for 6 extra evasion stats at max level. PM's skill is also an evasion increase for a set duration type, but PM suffers diurnal penalties for being a night unit. However though even at night PM-06 cannot exceed MP7's peak evasion rating, as she can only achieve a 150% increase of evasion with her skill. A deeper analysis on PM's skill indicates that PM is empowered for a much longer time frame as it last 10 seconds, however the longer cooldown would also leave her with a 6 second vulnerable downtime, PM does get to activate it faster with the 4 second initial. Ahh yes, and PM does not suffer a penalty to her damage related stats, in fact she get an accuracy up, which helps at night actually, not by much but it helps.

Compared to SMG RO635Thumb button.pngRO635 :

RO is more of an honourable mention, she is somewhat similar to MP7 due to the tile shape and bonus provided, the active skill however and individual performance is slightly different. Half of RO's self defensive bonus actually comes from debuffing the enemies, which MP7 cannot do. By evasion rating RO cannot exceed what MP7 is capable of, her HP pool is also slightly lower than MP7's.

Formation[edit]

Tile Bonus[edit]

MP7's tiles belongs to the large coverage, rate of fire improvement type, the 25% accuracy is also a bonus at night, thats cool.

Affects Assault rifles
Increases accuracy by 25%
Increases rate of fire by 15%

With a tile shape like this MP7 sits comfortable in the center (position 5) of AR/SMG formations, no matter how awkward the AR dolls' tiles are MP7 can probably still make it work. She can also be fitted on position 8 or 2, if the player wishes to run two evasion SMG formations, the 7 4 1 tile shape can benefit at least two ARs on the back line.

It is worth reminding 635's large coverage tile shape, with this she sits comfortably in the central position 5 of any (or most) AR/SMG formations. But it is rare to have AR dolls standing on position 8 and 2, so MP7 essentially has the same tile shape as 635, but provides more rate of fire bonuses.

Compatibility[edit]

The compatibility talk here should orientate around MP7's own tile bonus, while it is nice to provide MP7 with more evasion, it is not recommended to focus an echelon formation entirely on defensive properties. For example picking out only the highest evasion bonus AR dolls for MP7 but they themselves benefit little from MP7's tiles, after all you still have to defeat the enemy to continue. Quite a lot of rate of fire increasing ARs can actually push themselves to the 120 RoF cap with very little help, it is actually getting harder to find mutual compatible dolls for MP7. A few of them stands out.

AR AN-94Thumb button.pngAN-94 :

Abakan is such a good fit with MP7 she gets her own bullet point. These two literally are made for each other, AN-94 benefits the most from improved rate of fire with her Doll Trigger, while providing evasion bonuses on her huge tiles, great mutual benefits!

Abakan has nice tiles!

AR Type 95Thumb button.pngType 95 , AR G41Thumb button.pngG41  and AR RFBThumb button.pngRFB :

These three listed above are categorised as self damage increase type AR dolls, the most effective way to improve their actual damage per second would be to increase their fire rate, which MP7 is able to provide 15% of it. Not to mention their evasion improvement tiles, they bring about mutual benefits. Players should find no problem fitting RFB and G41 in the same echelon as MP7, Type 95 however can be a bit trickier.

AR OTs-14Thumb button.pngOTs-14 , AR 9A-91Thumb button.png9A-91  and modified AR AS ValThumb button.pngAS Val :

The three go-to night battle AR dolls also classifies as self damage increase types, and two of them can actually provide evasion bonuses back to MP7, more mutual benefits! Also worth mentioning the 25% improved accuracy for AR dolls is pretty good at night.

Other honourable mentions:
  • AR M4A1Thumb button.pngM4A1  does not provide any bonuses back to MP7 but is still a self damage increase type AR, MP7's tiles fits her, especially after the modified skill on M4A1 in which she absolutely demolishes her own rate of fire...
  • AR Zas M21Thumb button.pngZas M21  is pretty much a self damage increase type but with extra steps, besides she provides evasion bonuses, mutual benefits for both parties!
  • AR G36Thumb button.pngG36  provides offensive oriented tiles, which doesn't really fit MP7, but G36 will benefit from increased rate of fire.
    • Modified AR G36Thumb button.pngG36  adds a secondary passive skill Arclight Pact, this skill augment actually improves the evasion rating of dolls standing on G36's tiles at that time, which means G36 can actually provide benefits to MP7 when placed behind her.
  • AR ART556Thumb button.pngART556  has nice tile bonuses for MP7, her own low rate of fire can also make use of MP7's tiles, a fairly decent symbiotic relationship, in a sense.

Equipment[edit]

Slot 1
Blank.png

IOP T4 Exoskeleton

More evasion? Definitely, calibrate and upgrade this, fit it on MP7, she'll come out of battles unscathed, most of the times... high upgrade priority!
Slot 2
Blank.png

ILM Hollow Point Ammo

SMG's default equipment, improves damage output, it will counteract the damage penalty MP7 comes with on her skill a little, but overall low upgrade priority. Especially when there are other SMG dolls who are designed to deal damage in combat. (To be honest I left this slot empty for like a whole year because I was short on gold HP ammo equipment -Veguaniel 2k19)
Slot 3
Blank.png

AC4 Suppressor

Suppressor as slot 3 equipment is recommended as it provides additional evasion, moderate upgrade priority.
