"Doppelsoldner" model armored unit
A hulking, armored machine armed with a small arsenal's worth of rockets and cannons. Doppelsoldners act as platforms of some of Paradeus's heaviest anti-infantry weaponry, armed from head to toe with high-caliber explosives. Like many of Paradeus's regular forces, it is named after a type of postmedieval warrior, the German Doppelsöldner mercenaries.

Gameplay
State-of-the-art titans that can devastate dolls with explosives and heavy weapons. Both its regular attack and its rocket salvo deal explosive damage, rendering evasion and armor useless. In addition, explosive attacks will deal damage to each dummy link in a group, thus dealing very high amounts of damage despite what seems to be a manageable firepower stat. Finally, Doppelsoldners are equipped with heavy shielding on top of heavy armor and a large health pool, giving them high survivability.
These machines are a major threat and should be eliminated as quickly as possible, as the rocket salvo attack can damage every doll in the formation and easily drop everybody to critical health. RFs that are capable of extraordinarily high amount of early damage, such as Carcano M91/38 and M82A1, or RFs that can self-buff firepower and rate of fire are highly recommended. Dolls with stun-effects, such as Kiana, M16A1, or UMP9 can buy some precious time (be warned, the rocket salvo will usually begin as soon as the stun effect wears off). Shield-giving dolls such as P22, SAT8, and HS2000 can be extremely helpful for tankers, but care must be taken that enough damage can be dealt before the enemy skill activates.
