As a Domestic Caretaker Doll of the Butler-36 model, Centaureissi was selected for Project Neural Cloud due to her emotional systems having high capacity for growth as well as her combat modules that matched the capabilities of some Military Dolls. After arriving at the Oasis, Centaureissi has put into place a variety of improvements to the Professor's living arrangements and taken up the mantle of an important position in the Oasis' logistical systems. She might be outwardly stringent, but she soon earned the respect and admiration of the agents at the Oasis with her gentle and understanding disposition.

While handling daily affairs, Centaureissi ran into a dark zone in her memory data and suffered a shutdown. With the help of the Professor, she moved past her obstacles and reawakened. Her neural systems and combat modules were upgraded along with a new neural projection more suited to combat as well. She has gotten closer to the Professor, too. For the two of them, this form she now takes seems to hold some special importance.

As a "combat maid" equipped with combat modules from her very inception, Centaureissi displayed capabilities which put her in a league of her own both on and off the battlefield. It is this adaptability that delivered her from the cruel frontiers of the battlefield.

However, those past combat experiences left an indelible blemish upon her neural cloud, creating a deep-seated hidden malady within. It remained dormant for the most part in her daily activities, but the ticking time bomb would explode when something prompted her to call back a part of her memory. The dark zone in her memory module caused her to shut down on the spot. Thankfully, the Professor ventured into her memory pseudosphere, uncovered the truth of her neural cloud damage, and soothed her old wounds. It was this missing memory segment that informed the Professor how she came to be a "wanderer" drifting upon battlefields, from her background as a high-end maid Doll.

After a series of sudden changes of circumstance, Centaureissi was taken in by UAS approximately a week later as a pre-signed contract was drafted. She was transferred to a Doll maintenance super-facility in a White Zone, living there long-term, as she so desired. Compared to the endless conflict and strife of the outside world, these super-facilities developed by corporations provided a far more comfortable and stable environment for Dolls.

Centaureissi's stay at the super-facility had only lasted a month. The limits of her neural logic and her inner turmoil caused her to be unable to perform her duties and her neural systems became unstable. Only a month after moving into the super-facility, Centaureissi decided to leave once more, beginning a meandering journey with few known variables.

After leaving, Centaureissi roamed as she sought temporary work while gathering intel. She appeared frequently in areas afflicted with war and conflict.

While working as a maid, Centaureissi came into contact with and internalized a significant amount of knowledge related to military affairs. This knowledge was put to good use in times of trouble. When she was first caught up in a firefight, she scavenged a G36 rifle from a soldier on the brink of death. It became her weapon of choice during her travels for reasons such as ease of maintenance and easily acquired ammunition.

Having roamed the maimed earth and witnessed its ails, Centaureissi's personality, or rather neural structure, underwent significant change. She came to understand that if one wants to live in times filled with chaos and terror, one must adapt and learn how to face them. She grew serious and cautious, but the gentle and affable side of her appeared when the occasion was appropriate. She had tasted the torments of war and knew well the pain of a lost home and family.

After repairs were made to the dark zone in her memory module, Centaureissi inquired the tech department with regards to the repair process. The description of the Professor that Antonina gave lined up perfectly with the officer in her memory. That chunk of reminiscence and gratitude finally found its place of belonging.

Memories are of such importance by virtue of their personal nature. In the process of repairing Centaureissi's memories, the Professor wished to help her forget the pain of the past. The two, in unspoken agreement, refer to this segment of post-repair memory as "one lovely dream". Centaureissi did not make her appreciation evident through speech, but instead gave back in her own way with meticulous day-to-day care and absolute loyalty. To those at the Oasis, the seamless understanding between the Doll and the Professor shines through in each and every operation the two handle together. When asked by others where this enviable mutual understanding comes from, Centaureissi only smiles, her mind going back to the battlefield and its ever-present haze.

"If the battlefield is where you shall go, I should think that we will meet again."

She may appear cold and stern, but she harbors a naive side deep down. She once traversed the battlefront for the past, and her future might be closely linked to the battlefield too. She now, better than ever, would know where her true allegiance lies.

After a large-scale Neural restructuring, upgrade, and her dark memory zones were repaired, Centaureissi would often describe her past experiences thus: "Many who have never seen war for themselves bestow this romantic tint upon it, daydreaming themselves as some war hero, with the laurels and fanfare that come with. But when you face it in its reality, all of those fantasies are erased in an instant. I... have no intention of spreading these sentiments to the others at the Oasis."

After her neural upgrade, Centaureissi's temperance and disposition changed in a significant manner. She wasn't the maid she once was, or the nomad of the frontlines she used to be. To be exact, she is an amalgamate of the two. Some Dolls still get the "Man, the head maid looks extra scary today..." feeling, but as people spend more time around her, they discover that the gentle part of what defined her never left.

She now values the Professor and the others by her side even more. Her desire to protect does not come from duty, but the understanding she has reached from past experiences. For Centaureissi, her greatest wish is nothing more than to keep the peace as it is and stride towards the future with those who are important to her by her side.
