Career[edit]
The H01-PX05(R) is a Greater Sanctifier of the Reverse Babylon Tower, codenamed "Angelus". As a key member of the Magrasea Super Cloud Servers Comprehensive Security System, the H01-PX05(R) combines parts of the neural cloud data from previous generations of Sanctifiers and boasts the most powerful individual beyond-visual-range combat capabilities of any Sanctifier currently in service. In addition to potent combat capabilities, Angelus can efficiently communicate with agents from various sectors during the course of her duties, ensuring good relations with said sectors. Once she recognizes the threat level of what she is facing, she can rapidly shift to combat mode and quickly destroy any latent or extant threats.
Due to the impending mass Entropization of Magrasea, Angelus is currently working with the Oasis on behalf of the Sanctifiers, and both parties have achieved excellent collaborative results against the Entropics and turncoat Sanctifiers. In addition, Angelus has expressed a desire to deepen her cooperation with the Oasis and the Professor thanks to a personal interest in both.
Doll Profile 1[edit]
The initial design of the Sanctifiers and indeed, the entire Reverse Babylon Tower came from Jamila, a 42Lab network security expert. After designing the H01-PX01 and H01-PX02 agents, who were intended for coordination and leadership tasks, as well as the H01-PX01(I) who would be responsible for support duties, they began focusing on the Greater Sanctifiers, whose primary focus would be eliminating viruses. Jamila designed several prototypes which focused on various aspects such as prevention, detection, elimination, restoration, self-examination and so on, then recorded them into the Pantheon. Depending on the needs of the cloud, the Pantheon would spawn an appropriate Greater Sanctifier with a mix of capabilities appropriate to the situation.
Meanwhile, Angelus is the Sanctifier that was created after combining neural cloud data from certain predecessor generations of Sanctifiers and undergoing an iterative generation process that focuses on detecting and precisely eliminating viruses. Her outstanding detection algorithms allow her to precisely lock onto viruses and eliminate them from well beyond their detection radius.
Doll Profile 2[edit]
After taking into consideration the fact that even Greater Sanctifiers might end up taking damage or be lost in the process of defending the cloud, the Pantheon's systems were preloaded with large quantities of Greater Sanctifier data images. When there was a lack of Greater Sanctifiers, the Pantheon would generate a new Greater Sanctifier image, based on their data and functions. There was no practical benefit for an antivirus software suite to possess such functionality. While Jamila insisted that it would facilitate visual management of the system, others felt that it was simply a way for her to satisfy her idiosyncrasies.
That said, Angelus' appearance data contained a lot of information which had been tampered with, which greatly affected her generation process. In fact, certain Sanctifiers commented that she greatly resembled a Sanctifier from a previous generation—Electra. Since the cloud's disconnection from reality, there was no way for the outside world to affect the Sanctifiers' program settings. The only possibility was that someone within the Sanctifiers had used their permissions to alter the appearance data.
Doll Profile 3[edit]
As Sanctifiers who spawned in the same batch, Angelus and Eucharist had a sisterly relationship. While the two of them had dramatically different personalities and even belonged to different factions, they were often seen together. Eucharist would always harass Angelus, while Angelus would rein Eucharist in whenever she caused troubles. In human terms, the two of them would probably be the kind of siblings who would always bicker around each other, but who would never leave their sister alone.
However, according to Angelus' own testimony, she and Eucharist were never sisters and have never been able to understand each other. Angelus could not understand why Eucharist had defied, even blasphemed against the Sanctifiers' principles. After many conflicts, Angelus chose to distance herself from Eucharist, and after the latter's betrayal, Angelus never managed to successfully save her "sister".
"Perhaps our paths had already diverged from the beginning, and by the time I realized it, it was too late."
Doll Profile 4[edit]
Angelus' first encounter with the Oasis was not a happy one. The data of the Exiles who had left the Cloud Sector did not match up to the data in Angelus' screening systems. As such, Angelus fulfilled her duties and engaged the Exiles in battle at the Enigma Sector, attempting to delete the unverified data. However, she was defeated and forced away from her area of jurisdiction.
While she could not fulfil her duties, the fact her area of jurisdiction was ultimately saved by entities she considered Daemons caused Angelus to develop a great interest in the Oasis. The Oasis had the power to defeat a Greater Sanctifier and also had the ability to handle issues that even a Sanctifier would have trouble resolving, to the point where several Sectors had voluntarily chosen to leave the Sanctifiers' protection and deploy Sandbox Barriers. Every such report received caused dread among the Greater Sanctifiers, and in order to both keep an eye on the Oasis and verify its stance on the matter, Angelus was planning to open negotiations with the Oasis. However, before she could put her plan into action, the Reverse Tower was suborned and Entropized by Eosphorus, which resulted in Angelus not being able to travel to the Oasis.
Doll Profile 5[edit]
Angelus began officially working with the Oasis during the battle against Eosphorus. Though their time together was short, she managed to earn the trust of the Professor and the Oasis' Dolls. As part of the next generation of the cloud's defenders, Angelus came to the Oasis to forge a closer relationship with them. Unlike her usual stern and unyielding demeanor, Angelus soon found herself lost in exploring the Oasis, particularly the various desserts that Eos introduced to her. However, she constantly emphasized that she was doing so in order observe and monitor the Oasis, probably to salvage her dignity as a Sanctifier.
Thanks to Angelus' hard work, a breakthrough was finally made in the already-relaxed relationship between the Sanctifiers and the Oasis, and the two sides could march toward the future together. Their ties grew closer, and they collectively built a new cloud security framework. That said, Magrasea-wide drone livestreams, testing weird drugs of uncertain provenance and other such actions are still banned by the Sanctifiers.
"Speaking of which, Angelus seems very insistent that she's going to monitor the Professor. Don't tell me... Persicaria?! Hey, Persicaria, where are you going?!"
