Weapon Background

The MG36 was an experimental Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) produced by German arms conglomerate Heckler & Koch, derived from their G36 rifles. The only real differences between the MG36 and a standard G36 is the heavier barrel to cope with longer firing sessions and a modified magazine housing to incorporate the larger Beta C Magazines. Though the weapon concept was sound and the modification process relatively easy, army testers reported no real benefit or improvement to using the MG36 over unmodified G36 rifles being used in a similar role. The MG36 was produced only in limited numbers and the concept was later discontinued, with the Bundeswehr instead adopting the MG4 as their 5.56×45mm caliber squad automatic weapon for their infantry squadrons.

• The belt on her poncho says "IdZ - Infanterist der Zukunft", a German project to modernize the infantry.
• MG36's official showcase (and teaser) possessed a typo on her artwork, on her left sleeve specifically, where it was supposed to say "Type" however it was spelled "Tyep". This was fixed shortly after her implementation in the game.
• The hamster that can be found in one of her skin was rescued from a kid who intended fly it by tying it to some rockets during a certain furniture exhibition.. She named it HAL 9002, or Hal for short.
