Weapon Background
The H&K P2000 is a Semi-Automatic, Sliding-Action magazine fed pistol with variants capable of firing 9x19mm Para, .40S&W, and .357SIG with a maximum capacity of 13 rounds (In 9x19mm configuration). The gun is based on the HG USP CompactUSP CompactUSP Compact platform to meet criteria mostly requested by German Customs. The primary goal was to improve the ergonomics of the previous design and meet some proprietary requirements including a more specific flashlight attatchment point and a digital manual "Chipped" into the handgrip. However, the P2000 would see development outside of that contract which resulted in a more standardized design for US contracts and civilian export with a more standard rail and the omission of the aforementioned digital manual. The gun would receive minimal upgrade packages over it's ensuing lifetime aimed mostly at improving it's standard reliability, and became decently popular as a compact firearm, considered a major financial success by H&K. There are multiple subvariants mostly aimed at trigger differences, however there is a major subvariant known as the P2000SK which sizes-down the P2000 in most dimensions for an even more compact carry. The HG HK45HK45HK45-C variant takes multiple direct inspirations from the P2000 in it's update of form.
Character Background
A Doll who identifies herself as the genius and highly skilled racer Ruby. She laments that her talents are wasted in the police force and drives her police car very aggressively, often coming within a hair's breath of accidents, but she somehow always averts disaster with her bold and nimble manoeuvres at the wheel. She joined Griffin to "chase after her dream". She is a little wilful, but is always generous with her friends. She likes drinking coffee to feel more alert. She is also very sensitive to the weather - she has the superstitious belief that going out when it's below 5°C or in stormy weather would result in something bad.

Trivia
- P2000 was the second Doll designed by 薯子Imoko after AR G36G36G36, even before she joined Sunborn as a full-time employee, but she wasn't implemented until February 2024. Imoko redesigned her about five times throughout the years.[1]
- P2000 has multiple JP dub voicelines that carry English speech, one of particular note is her fully-english Skill 2 line, in which she says "Ultra Super Late Braking!", a popular reference to Initial D (Stage 4 Act 7). Interestingly, the EN translated plaintext/sub says "Pedal to the Metal!", which is technically the opposite of the phrase's normal English meaning.
