The STEN (or Sten gun) was a family of British submachine guns chambered in 9×19mm and used extensively by British and Commonwealth forces throughout World War II and the Korean War. STEN is an acronym, from the names of the weapon's chief designers, Major Reginald V. Shepherd and Harold Turpin, and EN for Enfield. Over four million Stens in various versions were made in the 1940s. They were notable for having a simple design and very low production cost making them effective insurgency weapons for resistance groups.
The Mark II was the most common variant, with two million units produced. It was a much rougher weapon than the Mk I. The flash eliminator and the folding handle (the grip) of the Mk I were eliminated. A removable barrel was now provided which projected 3 inches (76 mm) beyond the barrel sleeve. Also, a special catch allowed the magazine to be slid partly out of the magazine housing and the housing rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise (from the operator's perspective), together covering the ejection opening and allowing the weapon and magazine both to lie flat on its side.[1]
Character Info
Design
A short T-doll around 130-140cm of body height when compared to the weapon, Sten have golden colour pupils and medium length blonde hair tightened in twin ponies.
As the artist revealed on his/her weibo posts, originally Sten's costume concept design was similar to Little Red Riding Hood, as adviced by SMG Beretta Model 38Beretta Model 38Beretta Model 38's artist ALLENES suggested "Give her a little red hat.", by a red hat ALLENES meant a red beret hat though. When thought about the weapon was meant to be a cheap alternative due to lack of funding, the second draft Sten became Cinderella.
Finally 真名 settled with a feminized version of the traditional English working class outfit of that era, suspension belt skirt, red jacket, beret and a white shirt.
Personality
Sten is like a outgoing and kind girl next door, she always emits a lively and kind hearted aura. But deep down she is rather insecure and feels like she is unlucky, she wishes to prove herself in front of her comrades, she behaves and appear to be more outgoing in front of others just to fit in with everyone.
As revealed from the artist and evident from some of her quotes, her hobby is also culinary, but mostly in the field of patisserie.
In-Game
Upon beating one of the early chapters, a Sten T-doll will be rewarded to the player, to many players she is the first 3* T-doll to join their echelon. Combining decent HP pool, evasion and easy expansion, she is definitely a good T-doll for new player to level during the early game stage.
Story Involvement
Sten had interaction with the main story line, primarily as a member of Palette.

Palette Squadron and File 36
A makeshift squadron was put together for SMG RO635RO635RO635 to assist her in completing an assignment, the squadron goes by the name Palette.
RO was assigned to G&K with the mission of recovering "File 36". Sten and two other T-dolls, HG Type 92Type 92Type 92 and MG AAT-52AAT-52AAT-52 assembled together just for this mission. According to Type 92, RO's temporary adjutant, they are all misfits within G&K, hence the name Palette fits them quite well, with all their colourful personalities. RO's command module was meant to be tested and fine-tuned by leading this "Bad Company". She also gained quite a lot of experience and friendship while commanding this band of misfits.
Hunt for Dreamer
"Maintenance is still ongoing."

Other than the nation's own army, Sten Mk2 was also supplied to various resistance forces during the war. Widely distributed and used due to my high firepower, low cost and easily manufacturing process. Even though many complained that my design is ugly and my name sounds weird, but I did contribute a lot... No! Don't use me as a grenade!
My affections... They've reached you? Even though I don't have a lot of likeable features, but this day just suddenly arrived. I must be really lucky, right? Commander?
This is not a birthday chocolate, hehe, happy Valentines Commander.
Trivia
Due to the poor build quality, there are frequent reports of Sten misfiring when dropped on the group.
As a reference to a joke told by Allied troops, one of the official 4Coma of Girls Frontline drawn by AC-130 depict that RF Lee-EnfieldLee-EnfieldLee-Enfield threw Sten's weapon like a grenade at a group of enemy patrols to drive them away.
Captured Sten Mk. II was redesigned by German Designer, called MP.3008(or Gerät Neumünster) in mid WWII after Germany power began to collapse. MP.3008 shared a same receiver with Sten, but changed the magazine feeding to vertical over the original it was made. The MP.3008 itself also used by Fallschirmjager(German Paratrooper) and Volksturm(People's Storm of German) because of its reliability and cheaper maintenance cost than its counterparts, MP 40.[2]
Another exact copy of Sten Mk.II by Mauser, called Gerat Postdam was planned to be manufactured for 100.000 units although in reality there's only 28.000 units were manufactured.[3]
