MDJs, Cyber Media's musical Dolls, are mainly targeted at music clubs, radio stations, and streaming channel fans. Their hardware configurations and related services are comparable to top-tier offerings in other sectors.

MDJs have great system performance as well as exceptional learning skills, allowing them to adapt and create freely. They are the main creative force in some second-rate clubs and music radio stations.

Groove is Cyber Media's only MDJ Doll exclusively designed for promotional purposes and is thus not bound by any contract. Groove learned about Project Neural Cloud through a good friend and decided to participate in 42Lab's public test.

Doll Profile 1

Unapproachable, eccentric... These are some of the most common tags associated with Groove on major media sites. However, her friends give an opposing assessment. Groove, in their opinion, is actually quite simple. She pays remarkable attention to those she likes. When it comes to people she despises, she simply ignores them, not even acknowledging them with a nod.

Groove is adamant in her refusal to be swayed by anyone or anything. Because of the freedom provided by Cyber Media, she is able to appreciate her individuality. Many people adore her for it, while others are less enamored. Groove, on the other hand, is unconcerned and refuses to change, and she's more determined than ever to stick to her guns, especially after meeting someone who shares her beliefs.

Nothing enrages an artist, especially a music artist, more than plagiarism and data manipulation.

At the 2055 Navier Online Music Festival, the festival charts were topped by a mashup created by LivingSnake6 (aka Amazonian E-Snake) from Brazil, largely due to data manipulation by bots. Groove was enraged, especially after learning that her friend's debut single had also been mashed into that tune.

Groove worked for three days and three nights to create a new single that was similar to but considerably superior to LivingSnake6's hit, and posted it under the alias HeartBeat. Her single snatched the top spot on the festival charts in less than a week.

Her success was aided by a large number of like-minded peers. However, her abilities in that single are undeniable. And this single also made her alias a household name.

Several MDJ Dolls, such as Groove, have made their name in the business thanks to their skills, but they are not appreciated by all.

"Humph! Cyber Media's branding is irrelevant. They're basically a collection of samples mixed by a program. A data-driven mix of notes isn't even close to being music! At the end of the day, the art is all about your soul, rather than your skills!"

Usually, Groove is oblivious to outside criticism and is totally focused on her own music. Hearing such criticism from a teacher she admires, though, still hit her hard.

Journalists approached Cyber Media and requested Groove's comments, which she flatly refused. The mainstream media had two reactions to this: the first was that Groove had succumbed to traditional music, and the second was that Groove was too proud to respond. Only those who know her well can get a peek of her true feelings elsewhere.

Doll Profile 4

MDJs, like human artists, can experience writer's block. Groove's approach of finding inspiration is not unique, but quite unusual.

Whenever her inspiration runs out, Groove would put on a pair of oversized black-rimmed glasses and tacky clothing, order a beverage in a jazz bar, and then dance alone on a high-rise rooftop.

On one of her rooftop expeditions, Groove was caught by a security guard who just so happened to be her fan. The guard implored her for an autograph. But Groove had another proposition—he must chase her like how a security guard would chase a real thief. If he could catch her, the autograph was his to keep.

Groove didn't go into detail about what transpired later. However, later that month, Cyber Media released a new MDJ song titled Chase, which quickly rose to the top of the charts.

Artists are a lonesome bunch, and Groove is no exception. There's a whole world within her head that no one else has access to.

Groove enjoys mixing lyrics and musical notes into her daily life. Even if people give her weird looks, she doesn't seem to notice. She would walk into the bustling streets, and rap to every passer-by whenever she's in the mood.

But loneliness is not constant. Groove finally met someone in sync with her.
