AS Val is an obtainable Tactical Doll in the game.
Weapon Background
Special Automatic Rifle Val, a selective fire assault rifle developed by Soviet Union TsNIITochMash (Central Institute for Precision Machine Building), project completed in 1987.
A gas-operated, rotating bolt assault rifle built to fire the 9x39mm calibre Soviet munitions, the primary munition for Val is the subsonic SP-6 high-performance AP rounds, Val is capable of firing them at a nozzle velocity of 295 m/s. Feeds on a 20-round magazine, Val is able to achieve a rate of fire of 900 rounds per minute, up to an effective range of 300 metres, featuring a semi-automatic and a fully automatic fire mode. Similar to a Kalashnikov rifle, Val also features the right side charging handle, magazine release behind the well and a left side folding stock. Val's other notable design is the integrated suppressor, as in the suppressor can not be removed, all bullets fired from Val have the sound and flash suppressed.
Due to the expensive design, AS Val was only produced in very tiny amount and supplied only to Russian military intelligence agencies, Spetsnaz units and other selected army units under the GRAU designation 6P30. Val received overwhelmingly positive user feed backs, stating that the weapon's reliability rivaling that of an AKM assault rifle, remains reliably functional and accurate even under extreme conditions. Val took part in some of Russia's modern conflicts such as the Chechen wars, northern Caucasus conflicts and even the on going Syrian civil war.
Products derived from AS Val include the VSS Vintorez suppressed automatic sniper rifle and the SR-3 Vikhr compact assault rifles.[3]
Character Info
Design
A relatively exposed T-doll by character design, the she wears a scarf similar to AR 9A-919A-919A-91, 防弹乳牛 comments that he added this scarf later on when designing 9A because both Val and 9A are designed for a similar role, in a sense they are like sisters. She is often referred to just as "Teddy" by the player base because of her Teddy bear.
Val's in game sprite retains a grenade launching animation, her previous skill or planned skill was probably a grenadier skill.
Personality
The official character description says that Val is a quiet T-doll, prefers solitude, actual age is younger than she looks and she must takes the Teddy with her wherever she goes.
She is apparently good friend with 9A, the two are both quiet in front of others, but Val remains quiet out of shyness while 9A remains quiet simply because she is introverted. Despite appearing to be timid and shy, but she is not afraid of war. Evident from several quotations, she show the courage that some T-dolls lacks.
In-game
With the ability being more effective at night and suffers penalties during day, Val's diurnal combat dps output is really low amongst AR units in the entire game. The oddly shaped grid buff means Val have to be on the front line to provide buffs to the SMGs, despite having relatively high HP and evasion as a AR, she still cannot completely substitute a SMG on the front line. Combining these two factors AS Val not used very regularly by the players of Girls Frontline.
But with the innate high accuracy, high rate of fire, high damage after skill activation, her performance is fairly decent in nocturnal combat.

A rather common 4* rarity assault rifle, can be obtained from battle stage 0-2, 3-6, 3-3E, 3-4E, 4-3, 4-1E, 5-1, 5-5, 5-6, 6-1, 6-6, 7-4, 8-1, 8-2, 9-2 and 9-1E.

- Since both Vintorez and Vikhr are based on Val, their magazine are also reverse compatible with Val. Spetsnaz operators also have access to the 10-round magazine of Vintorez and the 30-round magazine of Vikhr.
