An assault rifle with a striking resemblance to the FN SCAR and the Bushmaster ACR. ART556 as the name suggest, assault rifle of 5.56x45mm calibre designed by Taurus.
Very little is known regarding the performance of this assault rifle, basic features can be seen on the weapon's exterior. The weapon seems to be using the same receiver group as Taurus' MT9 G2 9mm SMG, the upper receiver is made aluminum alloy and the lower is made of polymer material with an integrated magwell grip. Based on the visible gas cylinder, the operation of the rifle is assumed to be gas-operated, rotating bolt action similar to the FN SCAR.
ART556 have a forward charging handle and ejection port can be changed to access from both side of the receiver, the charge/ejection mechanism is potentially ambidextrous, just like the fire selector. The fire selector can enable semi-automatic, 3-round burst, fully automatic and function as a safety. The weapon stock can be folded and can be extended.
Aiming of the weapon can rely on Picatinny rail compatible optics or the built on iron sights, optics can be attached on the long rail placement on top of the receiver which extends all the way down to the muzzle end of the barrel. Shorter rails can be found on the side and bottom of the barrel for other combat accessories. The weapon is likely fed with STANAG issue magazines, it is to be noted that the magazine well looks big enough to potentially accept 7.62x51mm NATO/.308 Winchester cartridge magazines, hinting that the weapon could potentially be modified to fire the 7.62mm calibre.
Taurus seem to provided three different length barrels for the weapon. Other than ART556, Taurus also advertised the semi-automatic only carbine CT556.
Character Info
Design
ART556 looks like your average everyday loli drawn by Saru, just looks even less legal than the other characters Saru contributed to Girls Frontline such as HG P7P7P7 and RF M99M99M99.
Personality
Official character description: A mischievous girl who's always on the lookout for ways to have fun. She's guaranteed to end up biting her tongue every time she says her own name. Because she only cares about going after fun stuff, she often breaks the most basic rules of good behavior. Currently, she's been focusing on earning her amusement at SMG MT-9MT-9MT-9's expense.
Her "friendship" with MT-9 is probably due to both of them being from the same manufacturer. While P7 is also a prankster, P7 is just a bit naughty; ART556 on the other hand pranks for fun beyond boundaries and moral restrictions, that is quite a difference apparently. A prime example of how far she can end up going was shown in her conflict with SG S.A.T.8S.A.T.8S.A.T.8 during the 2018 Lunar New Year event (see below).
On the other hand, she was shown on the same event to be a surprisingly good cook, as she brings her own homemade food to the Commander and S.A.T.8 by way of an apology; the older doll, who's definitely an expert on good food, is pleasantly taken aback by her meat dish.
In-Game
ART556 features a stepped up version of the Assault Focus skill AR TAR-21TAR-21TAR-21 has, after a 6 second initial cool down, her dps increases by great magnitude by boosting both her damage and rate of fire, for a relatively short duration though. ART556 functions well with AR RibeyrollesRibeyrollesRibeyrolles's 6 second tile attribute boost.
As for her own tile buff, it is exactly the same as AR G41G41G41's, she can provide accuracy and evasion buff to SMGs placed diagonal front of her.
Story Involvement
ART556's Lotus White costume side story described her interactions with the Commander during the 2018 Lunar New Year Festival.

Costume story: Lotus White
ART556 unleashed the biggest grandest prank of her T-doll career during the 2018 Lunar New Year festival, specifically sabotaging the fireworks show S.A.T.8 had been carefully working on for a while, all because the "shaggy monster" had shooed her away from her workplace; ART556 would later break into it and just set the whole thing off, causing a huge ruckus in the base to boot.
However, scared at S.A.T.8's violent reaction and panicking at the Commander's decision to arrest her, ART556 begs for a chance to improvise something to help S.A.T.8 salvage her show; the Commander acquiesces, and they manage to complement what little was left of the fireworks with fake firecrackers (which only made noise) created by ART556 and flashbangs borrowed from Kalina. In the end, ART556 brings a lunchbox with her own handmade food (a meat dish made following a "secret recipe") for the Commander, who forgives her after being impressed by her diligent work and her heartfelt apologies.
Still, immediately after that, ART556 reverts to her usual attitude as some other dolls call her to see some weird stuff MT-9 had just found. She zaps away at the call of fun stuff happening, causing the Commander to wonder if the whole lesson had just been lost on her... though he decides to just forget about it and enjoy the New Year night.
I'm Taurus ART55——aaahhh! ...556, Assault Rifle! ...Designed and produced after studying and taking reference from FN SCAR... What? Ripoff? You gotta pay more attention, there are differences on the exterior designs. As long as it is legal, it shouldn't be a problem, right?~
Commander, you can't stand this boring daily routine either, right? Then, let's just be together from now on! I'll make every day of yours fun in a way you can't even imagine!
