Rodeleros attack using their beam lance, jumping directly in front of the closest target before unleashing a deadly laser that damages an entire row, similar to Dreamer's special attack. The laser typically does a low amount of damage, but will deal additional damage for every dummy a doll has much like explosive weapons, and will also continue dealing damage every few frames as long as a doll stays inside the path of the beam. In addition, they always come with a force shield, protecting from damage unless the shield is removed through HOCs or high-damage attacks.

While highly damaging, their attacks are telegraphed and can easily be dodged by ARs, SMGs, and HGs by simply moving out of the way of the beam during their jump. In addition, shields like those given by Shield Fairy can nullify a large amount of damage from the lasers, as much of the damage comes as a result of the laser hitting multiple dummy links.

"Rodelero" model combat doll

Frontline units used by Paradeus. These dolls seem to hold some sort of higher position within Paradeus ranks and are often seen leading bands of Strelets into battle with their beam lances. Like Strelets, Doppelsoldners, and Uhlans, they're named after post-medieval soldiers; in this case, the Spanish rodelero swordsmen.

Appearances

Rodelero's make their first appearances in E2 of Major Event Continuum Turbulence and throughout Chapter 11
