Earhart Profile Quotes

Career[edit]

E-Pilots are Dolls created by Svarog Heavy Industries in response to the needs of the aviation industry in the aftermath of World War 3, which left the global satellite network paralyzed.

Compared to traditional pilots, E-Pilots not only have knowledge on how to operate various types of aircraft without requiring additional training, but they can also access the post-WW3 aviation network platform created by Svarog Heavy Industries in collaboration with all the major aviation companies. Using this encrypted information platform, they are able to complete flight tasks without satellites. With this unique advantage, E-Pilots quickly became the favorite of major airlines.

Earhart is the longest actively serving E-Pilot. She is also the only Doll with actual experience piloting all types of aircraft, and has participated in two top-secret aircraft simulation studies. With all this to her name, she was invited to join Project Neural Cloud.

Doll Profile 1[edit]

The one great difference that separates E-Pilots, which is a Doll who operates aircraft, from other Dolls is that they cannot immediately go into service after awakening. They must undertake half a year of training before they are fully certified to fly.

As a result, these Dolls take part in a system that is not dissimilar to human schooling. As these training centers are not identical either, they also exhibit varied development.

After leaving the factory, the vast majority of Dolls are transferred to major aviation companies for basic training. After their certification, they will start a straightforward career in air shipping. Few are like Earhart, who received training at Svarog Heavy Industries, before being assigned a job.

Doll Profile 2[edit]

Earhart's training experience was quite a bit different from other E-Pilots. Within just one month, Earhart far surpassed the normal results of the program. In her hands, all flying machines were as simple to operate as children's toys. After just one or two test flights, she was able to perform even the most complex of maneuvers.

Due to her outstanding performance, Earhart was assigned to a secret project in Svarog Heavy Industries—a specialized spacecraft that would rewrite the rules of the sky. When the second half of the standard training started, Earhart was conspicuously absent.

Doll Profile 3[edit]

During training, Earhart neither made a single mistake, nor did she ever suffer an accident due to forces beyond her control. Despite this, she still studied all precautions written in both human and Doll flight records. She also specifically studied the procedures for dealing with extremely dangerous situations. She never really imagined that she would find herself in one, but it was always better to be safe than sorry.

As luck would so have it, during her eighth month on the job, a bird struck a weak point in the engine when she was some 300 meters off the ground. This caused the engine to sputter and stall.

She had seen how to deal with similar situations in documentaries she had watched, and she chose the most dramatic yet heroic method. Within the 40 seconds she had before she would crash, Earhart changed direction multiple times midair to avoid residential areas, and much like the hero in the documentary, she ejected at the very last moment. She was not blessed with the luck of said hero, however, and other than her core components, Earhart's entire body was torn asunder. She lost consciousness and was recovered by the logistics team that rushed over to the site of the accident.

Doll Profile 4[edit]

This accident did not cause Earhart to fear flying. On the contrary, it instilled an even greater appreciation for the sky in her as she realized how vast it truly was in comparison to humans and Dolls. She also gained an even deeper respect for the heroes from the documentaries.

Since then, Earhart has gotten into the habit of making more videos. Although it made her pre-flight application procedures more complex, she wanted to record her view of the sky from the cockpit.

Later, Earhart's photography habit expanded from not only shooting the great blue yonder, to aerial photography. The first time she witnessed this novel change in perspective, she realized that it might help this era, which tended to ignore the sky, recognize the charm of flying. She applied for the use of a civilian aircraft, and on days where there were no missions, she would take the aircraft up to take photos.

Doll Profile 5[edit]

After joining the Exiles, Earhart discovered that there were very few Dolls with aviation skills. As one of the few pilots capable of long-range support, Earhart had to shoulder many tasks such as support, transport, and reconnaissance.

At the same time, to complete the spacecraft test task arranged by Svarog Heavy Industries, Earhart cooperated with an insider in Project Neural Cloud to establish an independent test site outside of the Oasis. This was to prevent it from being noticed by Dolls from other enterprises.

Because there are so few Dolls doing the same work as her, the vast majority of Dolls have no way of noticing the unusual amount of time that Earhart spends on her tasks.
