Animations on the Wiki
Animations on the Girls' Frontline Wiki try to give the user a first impression of how the animation will look in the game. It is not possible to recreate the animations from the game 1:1. The animations shown are rendered and do not have a video format (GIF, WEBM, MP4,...).
Spine by Esoteric Software
The chibi animations seen ingame are rendered with the Spine framework by Esoteric Software in version 2.1.17. Spine is a bone based animation framework created 2013 via Kickstarter campaign.
The Girl's Frontline Wiki uses the framework with a paid license. You are not allowed to use the framework without a registered license. Please see the Spine homepage for further details and price listing.
Chibi animations on the Girl's Frontline Wiki are rendered with a JavaScript implementation of the framework rendered via pixi.js. Not all rendering issues can be fixed as there is no support for the old Spine version. An upgrade is not possible as newer Spine versions are not compatible to the game's assets.
Chibi animation panels usually provide a button to create a snapshot of the currently shown frame. There is no easy way to record (GIF, MP4, WEBM,...) the animations.
T-Doll animations
ToDo
Heavy Ordnance Corps animations
Please see T-Doll animations.
HOC animations consist of four individual animations. One for the battle animation and one dormitory animation for each unit of the HOC team.
Enemy animations
Please see T-Doll animations.
Some enemies are too big in size. Because of this the animation had to be scaled down to fit the animation panel.
Fairy animations
Fairy animations consist of a floating drone and an still image of the fairy in chibi form. As the fairy itself does not have an animation no animation will be shown on the wiki. For the chibi images please see the "Gallery" section of the Fairy.

Story sequences
Story sequences in the game are rendered entirely with Unity functions. Special effects and movements are defined via text files stored as assets. The Girl's Frontline Wiki can not reproduce animations. Story sequences will be shown as still images. The main focus is to provide the story.
