During the 1990s Taurus replaced in production its MT-12A submachine gun (licensed copy of the Beretta PM-12) with another foreign design, this time purchased from Chile. Originally known as the FAMAE SAF, in Brazil it is made in a slightly modified form as the Taurus MT-9 (in 9mm Luger). In this case, the MT index stands for Metralhadora Taurus – Taurus Submachine gun, and the digits denote a caliber[1]
The Taurus MT-9 G2 line of submachine gun first appeared in early 2011, apparently to replace older Taurus MT submachine guns in same calibers. This weapon represents 2nd generation of Taurus submachine gun, hence the apparent G2 addition to the name. Compared to 1st generation weapons, new Taurus MT G2 submachine guns offer more noticeably lower and controllable rate of fire, better ergonomics and probably more economical production, thanks to use of more modern manufacturing techniques. It is yet to be seen if these weapons will be adopted by any major force, though. Taurus also offers a semi-automatic version of the G2 line, known as CT G2, which is intended primarily to civilian and security markets[2].

Official character description: Cheerful and easygoing, as if full of sunlight, and the type that can become fully engrossed in anything. In battle, in contrast to precise, long-distance snipers, she's an intense fighter who becomes even more earnest as the enemy's defenses are broken. A hard worker who rejects belief in origin or bloodline, she duly strives every day doing practical work and diligent training. However, she tends to become more downhearted than others when things go wrong, which lets show that she has a bit of an inferiority complex to deal with.
She's also known for being a favorite target for AR ART556ART556ART556's prank-pulling. It doesn't show in her own lines, since she was introduced first, but it does in ART556's; in particular, their Halloween lines are directly connected. Their relationship is probably not that bad though, at least as implied by ART556's Chinese New Year event slideshow, which suggests they may also spend time together doing fun stuff.

Based on her appearance, she is the Taurus MT-9 G2, the 2nd generation variant.
In her official art as submitted by her artist on Pixiv, she is indeed identified as "MT-9 G2". Said art also contains a slight variation of her damaged portrait, without the burning bits.
